I don’t want that fat cigarette smoking dude on my team. The guy was exposed by Boston in the finals. He’s no LeBron in that he will change his Eastern European mindset when it comes to taking care of his body.

He might want to play there but suppose their GM calls Stone and offers Luka for Sengun, Reed and a draft pick

Unfortunately no one leaves the Lakers unless they're actively beefing with someone. He'll probably be there till he retires and it hurts my soul.

If the small chance Luka leaves Los Angeles and signs with Dallas again with AD on the team it would destroy the Lakers/Pelinka and Nico would look like a puppetmaster genius, lol. I would die laughing

Haha I think in this one Mavs were the disgruntled franchise.

    Jokester Harrison.

It's the Lakers, realistically they'll somehow get another star landing in their lap whenever LeBron retires, and Reaves/Hachimura/Knecht are a solid trio of roleplayers.

That said, if he takes it to free agency instead of extending this offseason, take a swing anyway. Can't hurt

I think Miami is a lot more fun than LA. It’s more vibrant, the weather is awesome other than hurricane season, and no state income tax. The people are equally douchey in both cities, the food scene is better in LA bc of Orange County, but the food in Miami gets better each year. All in all i prefer a Miami for the tax breaks, beaches, night life, and fishing. But to each their own

Nope… i guarantee he just wanted to get out of Dallas and only wanted to go to LA. Nothing about the official story makes any sense.

Also the Lakers are underrated in the way they can draft contributors late or through free agency. Austin Reaves was a undrafted FA. Kyle Kuzma was a 27th pick, Zubac 2nd rounder, Larry Nance 27th pick. The point is that they somehow always get somebody that becomes a contributor which is valuable depth even if they don't have any more cash on free agency

If you watched the presser, Luka was clearly not happy. Guess we will see where this goes. Lakers will go above and beyond to make Luka happy was it about money? Was it humbling? it’ll be an interesting watch.

I cannot stand listening to Pelinka talk; dude is so fake. I felt like it was kind of odd he started praising Adam Silver. Almost felt like he was thinking him for helping g make the trade happen.

You will never be able to convince me that LeBron didn’t know about the trade. There is not a chance in hell they wouldn’t consult him. That garbage is all about making LeBron look clean and save some face with AD.

Traded Kuzma+ for Westbrook. Traded Zubac for Muscala.

Lakers are an incompetent franchise. Sit back and let them fail again.

Right on cue, the Lakers just gave up their last few assets other than Reaves for a center whose defensive talent has been sapped by injuries.

Both of them have similar games and can initiate the offense while the other rests. It’s going to be interesting.

They are all in for this year and next. If Williams stays healthy the Lakers will be competitors. Don't forget that they also have the stripes on their side. They are already leading the league by an incredible margin in FT attempts. It is going to be a constant parade to the line for Lebron and Luka. Man their games are going to be painful to watch.

I don’t want Luka. I am beginning to believe he is indeed overrated.

Will he? He got sent from Dallas (not terrible) to the Lakers (a dream for most players). Maybe playing for a higher profile team will spark him but I think it’s more likely he doubles down and is less interested in reforming his style and body.

I think there's a chance he does leave LA, and since the taxes and living costs in CA are so high, he may come right back to Texas - to the Rockets.
