We had concerns about Luka being fat so we called the Lakers and offered him for a 32 year old who plays 55 games a year.

If you were going to trade him, why not open it up to the entire league for offers? Surely somebody would have beat the Lakers' offer? I don't get it at all

I can't believe we weren't in on this ****... AD is an all-star but he's 1 major injury away from ending his career. Dude is ****ing injury prone and in his 30s.

Luka is an MVP level player and 25yo... how the **** weren't we in on this? Mavs GM should be fired and investigated for insider trading. They just helped the Lakers get away with highway robbery. This feels as lopsided as KD going to the Warriors.

Luka would be a perfect fit on the Rockets since he's only 25. We wouldn't have to worry about the PG position for the next 5 years.

Because I'm sure every single one that could would mortgage their entire future draft stock to trade for him and give the Mavericks a better long-term package.

I can understand the fantasy of AD and Irving being completely healthy for the rest of the season and making a run. But next year? And the next *insert 10 years*?

And again, if no other team knew... pretty ridiculous it just happens to be the Lakers who Dallas called.
