They don't think the league is their farm system, they know it is. Been this way since they were gifted Magic after making the finals the year before

Find it hard to believe the league would leave a top 5 market in size that's also the fast growing market in America for Vegas, but definitely won't rule it out at this point. My Mavs friends up there have all given up on the team.

Premise #15 - Nico Harrison was caught by Lebron at a Diddy party.

The Mavs just devalued their franchise by hundreds of millions

luka was immature , ok so was harden at his age.. you don't trade these kind of talents even when they want out. You damn sure don't negotiate with just 1 team and that being the lakers.

Rob Pelinka Agent and Nico Harrison Nike 20 year History.

Getting Kobe Bryant to sign with Nike. Nico Harrison and Agent Rob Pelinka were involved in signing Kobe Bryant to Nike.

They tanked the value on purpose. Easier to move a team when local support fades. DFW gets an expansion team later, maybe still called the Mavs. But why not just start fresh in Vegas?

This kind of thing is firing-worthy. Even if the casino conspiracy is true, he's likely going to be the fall guy.

I felt this way from the moment the trade was announced but this confirms to me Nico Harrison won't be the Mavs GM beyond this season.

Why would an owner allow this to happen though if they know the GM will be fired for it?

Yeah, not really buying the Nico was the only one who knew about this thing. The owners have to sign off on all trades, especially a huge franchise altering trade of an MVP caliber player. The owner is accountable for everything, and like sitting at the top of a mountain they can see everything and staff below them.

I think it was a purely financial move for their investment, for the NBA with the Lakers carrying the flagship franchise and they are making Nico the fall guy. This doesn't happen without the owners approving it. It is what it is

Either the owner was not well-informed or Harrison was used as a pawn in a scheme, kind of like Silas was used by Stone in his tanking scheme.

The owner of the Mavs (Miriam Adelson) is old, stupid wealthy and didn't think it would blow up like this because she's totally ignorant about basketball and took Nico Harrison's word it was best for the team. Steve Ballmer is the only owner in the NBA with a higher net worth!

The outrage from Mavs fans shows no sign of slowing down and now I'm thinking Harrison might not even last the season. LOL, maybe he could be gone this month.

Nico Harrison most likely a Double Agent, I think the Lakers are paid the Mavericks Owners Millions of Dollars to the Mavericks for Luka Doncic.

Nico Harrison I think will work for the Lakers in secret after he leaves the Mavericks.

Sorry, you don't pay over 4 billion, with tons of lawyers, processes, vetting by the league, etc. and not realize how important your franchise player is to your investment.

You also don't get that rich being too dumb to understand the fundamentals of what you're investing in, the man at the top of the mountain didn't just fall there.

The owner definitely signed off on it and knew what was happening.
