Mavs reporting they didn't want to pay him the supermax.. This is like if we find our Amen at age 25 is an MVP level player (getting top3 mvp votes) and then Tilman just said, yea let's trade him away for a 33yo Devin Booker because we want to compete now.
This trade should not remotely in anyway have us panicking. The Lakers got significantly worse on defense with no front court, the Mavs have a bunch of injury prone guys. Panicking over this right now would be dumb. The only worrying implications is the long term Lakers since they'll be able to lure free agents to play with Luka in the future
There's a shop nearby I always frequent where there are dudes in their late teens or early 20s working there who are some of the classiest Mavs fans I ever met that I talk Rockets, Mavs, NBA, etc. with. I can't wait until my next visit to figure this out with them. lol.
Why would they not want to pay Luka? no matter what they put out there, it just doesn’t make any sense…u can’t justify a trade like this it defies any kind of logic
Mavs are so dumb they didnt even do a bidding war. I think the Lakers owners paid off the Mavs owners for this deal to happen. It doesnt make any sense.
If this is true, Then CF needs to get off Tilman’s back He’s not poor and he’s not that stupid @Os Trigonum @Jontro @J.R.
Unfortunately listening to my laker roommate watch Doncic highlights in the living room. The rich get richer.
