trae young was literally called the next steph curry as a prospect but even trae wants to play like harden. To win with a player like curry you have to overspend and surround that player with elite 2 way players that are super expensive. Most teams can’t afford to go that route

Of course it's a good thing. Harden is one of best ISO scorers the game has ever seen. Why would that be a bad thing? Even Luka admitted he studied Harden's game, among others. Some guys here though desperately want to find out who's better of the two and play very defensive every time someone implies Luka is better. I think some things Harden did better, and some other stuff Luka does better. There's no denying though who's a better playoff performer. But even that, IMO, doesn't solidify one over another. We will have to wait at least a few more years before having a definitive answer.
As a former Harden stan, it still kinda triggers me to see Luka get d*ckrode by the masses for things that Harden does/has done. I literally got an email by the NBA to my main inbox about Luka's performance last night. I love Luka as well and I have a ton of respect for his abilities but it's just weird seeing how similar the two are while also recognizing how differently they're perceived.
I'm also a Harden fan and I'm watching him closely in Philly, and I'm not sure why people liking Luka more than Harden triggers you. Harden was the ultimate NBA villain with his countless ISOs, 20s dribblings and especially foul baiting. If you add his aloof personality, it's clear why lot of people haven't been keen on him. Luka, on other hand, is a cute babyface european who smiles a lot and is very relatable, but can be a stone-cold killer in playoffs. Still not sure why one is liked better than the other?
I hope Luka gets fed up with the shitty Mavericks and demands a trade to the future up-and-coming Rockets...or bolts to us in free agency
To be honest there are better owners like in Miami, with the Clippers etc. I would like to see him team up with Curry, Giannis, Zion or Durant. Wemby is interesting option. But it's game over, league anyway.
I think he will leave Mavericks for sure. I'd like him to go to a team with a good ownership, GM and coach. GSW, Clippers, Miami.
To me Luka has the advantage because he was already elite in his first 2-3 years while it took a detour as 6th man for Harden. Needless to say he is also taller than Harden and could play more positions. Luka is 23 for crying out loud and plays like a 28 year old.
