He brings heart to the game every night, the most consistent player on the team.

Best player on our team period

Scola brings heart and soul to the team, something a lot of PF in this league lacks. He may not be the most athletic or skilled, but he has PASSION!!!

I think he is one of the most skilled PFs while one of the least athletic.

Bosh then maybe but NO to Amare. Just because Amare can dunk on people and get on highlight reels does not mean he is an upgrade over Scola. Scola is a hard working player with a competitive winning thrive. The reason why Amare is so successful is because he is playing with the best PASS FIRST point guard (Steve Nash) in the NBA. Brooks is not Nash. Brooks cannot play the pick and roll like Nash that made Amare so dangerous. Amare wouldn't be as effective if he is playing with Brooks.

So no to Amare and we see what happens with Bosh. But if we don't get Bosh, I rather have Scola than Amare any day. If Amare ends up in Houston for Scola, I know anyone that understands basketball would know that it is a bad trade for giving up Scola for Amare. Anyone else that don't know the real fundamentals of the game would enjoy Amare simply because of the highlight reels. So just remember, Amare is a good player but he would not succeed with Brooks as the PG.

I think Scola is the heart and soul of the Rockets. With all the money that other teams have saved for this off season's free agent market; can we really keep him? We all want him as a Rocket. I know he is not a Top Level free agent but, he is good and some one is going to pay him a lot of money. Money (cap space) we do not have.
