OK, not that kind of stats junkie, just one who likes to see players average double figures....to help him in the ROY campaign.

Luis Scola needs to average something that makes us win every game.

Now that's what I'm talking about.

I don't care if Tracy's scores 8 pts from here on out, if we win, or if Scola lays a goose egg, or if our offense doesn't flow. I love ugly team basketball with great defense. Give me a winning spurs game over a flashy losing suns game any day.

Look I like to see nice clean stats, and it would be cool if Luis could get up to 10ppg....

Just like I like Yao to have 20ppg and 10rpg.

    Just kind of neat.

DD, you need to stop obsessing over stats.

How about that steal last night? Took it all the way to the hoop.

    I love this man.

I want to make sweet love to Lu... uhhh, nevermind.

How about the 20 other people that slammed this "turrible" nickname? Many were harsher than me, Sir Flawless.

Regardless, the Passion Assassin = Fails.

True, but that doesn't change the fact that it is still a turrrrible nickname, bro.

Landry needs a nickname. I'd don't like the previous nicknames that were proposed. LandRover and Landmine are clever, but they don't exactly roll off your tongue.

I like him and all, but 10ppg average over a season is NOT Rookie of the Year type numbers.

I think ideally, Scola in his prime will put up Juwon Howard numbers (17ppg, 8-10 rpg). I would be very happy with that.

    :D

I was trying to elicit a Zboy reaction, but I guess he's smart enough not to get baited.

Seriously though, if Scola puts up 17/9 for his career, you wouldn't be thrilled? Juwon was a heck of a scorer back in the day, and a solid player overall for his size.

The only negative is that I think Scola is in his prime...

But him and Yao's finesse game seems to be the type that ages well.

"Rambo" in Japanese means rough, which is exactly how Scola plays. I appreciate how gritty he is, while also being really crafty at scoring...

Yes, but you have to realize this is his first year in the NBA. A lot of the rules are different to him. It has taken him a while to get accustomed to them. He's still learning.

I believe he'll have an ever better year next season!
