Ryno hit his shots which was nice to see and brought more space. Gordon at least attacked the rim a few times in game 3 but didn't get the call on a few of them. He is going to have a game soon (i hope tonight) where he does put it all together. Ariza - He has to start getting into a better rhythm when shooting. He is rushing some of these shots he doesnt have to rush. Credit that to the Wolves closing out on him hard, but he still has time to make sure he is set. Tucker - I never really rely on Tucker for offense but after he missed his first shots badly early in the 1st in G3 he became super tentative to shoot the ball later on which resulted in hurting the offense in general. MDA says if you have an open shot take it because you may end up passing off to a worse shot. Overall though the energy was a step slow, the wolves were definitely hyped for their first playoff game in over a decade. I just felt Harden, Capela and Paul were playing in half gear slower than everyone else. Tonight will determine though if this is a series or not. I expected this series to go 5 games, the Rockets need to come out and punch them in the teeth.
lol there was like 5-6 missed shots in a row there (not sure who was shooting on the other side) Hope they break out of their slump.. this is just crazy
Wow... This would be huge for him to be back by the next series... May be a blessing in disguise if we get Ryno rolling too...
Luc keeps getting smaller. He came into the league as a short, skinny PF. Eventually worked his way into the SF position. Now he's a guard. I thought with how small the league had gotten he'd be a center by now.
I'm not talking about "next series" until our damned team wakes the **** up this series. We've already injected some life into the Timberwolves. We have got to win tonight's game and get back to playing the way that got us the #1 seed in the first place.
If we want him back in the 2nd round, we may lose the match for wolves just like warriors lose to spurs to wait for curry back
Here is to hoping OKC wins their next game at home and for that series to go to 7, while ours ends thus Wednesday. That would give roughly another week for Luc to recover. We need to buy him some time here, much more important than any particular 2nd round opponent.
That's silly. Wrap up the series tomorrow night. We'll get at least til Saturday to rest. And that's only if Utah wins in OKC tomorrow. If the Thunder hold serve at home, we'll probably have til next Monday(or Tuesday if that series goes 7). If Luc is ahead of schedule as they're indicating, then he should be back early in the next round. Maybe even for the beginning of the series.
