So basically he'll be back in early January. No big deal. The Rockets have 9 games remaining this month. 6 are at home(including 2 vs the Lakers). The 3 on the road are at OKC, Boston, and Washington(on a B2B). Not an easy road trip at all, but I would at least favor the Rockets in 2 of those.
Oh man thank goodness. Hopefully he'll be back for 12/28 (2 weeks away) against the Celtics. And if not, then hopefully back by 1/4 (3 weeks away) to pester Durant. He'll be recovering through a string of home games, so that's good. The Spurs will be tough, and the Bucks might give us a close run, but I'm not scared about the 2 LA teams and certainly not the game at OKC. Tucker and Anderson both need to play no less than 30 minutes a night for the time being. And hopefully Troy can step up.
The 1 seed was fun while it lasted. Tbh. I don't care about the seed just hope nobody else gets hurt when Dantoni shortens the rotation.
we could lose a couple extra games, remember what a difference it was against CLE with lebron abusing ariza when prince was out?
Really you think were going to lose the #1 seed because of this? Its not like Harden went down. Luc has been great but c’mon. That’s an over the top reaction. We will still be heavily favored in most games.
Golden State is 1 game back and we just lost a huge cog of our "switch everything" defense, yes we will lose the one seed lmfao. If Golden State didn't exist, we'd be fine, but Golden State exists and it's pretty annoying that people are still writing them off. They are still heavy favorites to win the championship and grab the #1 seed.
The Warriors are still the favorites, and rightfully so. But I don't think you can look at missing 2-3 weeks of their 6th or 7th most important player and immediately say "Houston will definitely lose the No. 1 seed now." This Rockets team managed to go 10-4 without Chris freaking Paul. I think they'll be okay without Mbah a Moute. Remember that Golden State also has a road game against Cleveland on Christmas Day and will be without Curry for at least another week. They're not unbeatable, and they will still lose a few more games this season.
So...Golden State can not play Curry for two weeks but losing Luc is going to plummet us down the standings? Its not Harden or Cp3 or even Capela or Ego..
We dodged a bullet there. Still, Morey needs to work his magic at the deadline. Cannot rely on health, Nene went down last year and we were f-ed. Need to have insurance, we're good at center this year at least. Thank God. Harden / CP3 / Ego - one goes down, no back-up Ariza / Ryan / Mbah / Tucker - we're still good, but stil like to see another forward Capela / Nene / Black / Zhou - perfect!
Luc sleeps 12 hours a day. Prognosis can't take into account accelerated healing of dat deep REM sleep.
