people like you have absolutely no common sense nowadays to ask this kind of question. It is okay to say they both are hard working players on the court, but you cannot compare them, it's like you ask Hakeem or Calvin Cato, who would you pick..
Now it is you who are out of line. I don't think Hakeem is a valid parallel to make with Kobe. The Dream is definitely a different style of player and better in every way possible. But I digress, this is not a Hakeem v. Kobe thread. Lowry all the way.
Do we not want one of the greatest to ever play on our Rockets? The fact that this poll is almost even at this point is ridiculous.
the problem is the rockets play basketball, which is dependent on player's abilities....so you have to include skills...what you should have asked was who would you rather be friends with or who would you hang out with, then you would get the answer you're looking for, but you wont get it if it involves playing ball.
You don't have to include skills. The fact that T-mac isn't playing right now is a perfect example of why.
I don't understand your reasoning. You don't think Dream v Kobe is a valid parallel because they are completely different players, and Dream is "better in every way possible" even though Kobe and Lowry are completely different players and Kobe is better than Lowry is every way possible?
Lowry by a long shot. I mean, Lowry might not get rated as the top player in the game by all the mags, and maybe he doesn't have 4 rings like Kobe, but heck, Lowry is so cute!
Kobe; just for the record, is an mvp, scoring champ, 4 time nba champion, future legend and future hall of famer. SO WHY IS THERE EVEN A COMPARISON? ( note: I do like lowry btw)
No, this thread isn't about who is better between Lowry and Kobe. I meant that the Dream is a different player and shouldn't be plugged into the same formula in Kobe's place v. Cato. You can't draw an accurate parallel for argument in that sort of a situation. I don't think you're reading the written arguments posed in this thread correctly. Going to the Kobe v. Lowry thread in the other argument, there is a separate set of evidence with different assumptions that reach the conclusion.
Lebron because he actually knows how to spread the ball well. More upside with him in the locker room as well IMO.
Right, to hell with somebody who likes another player from another team. And the fact that I would really need to compare these two players would make one question your basketball knowledge. I dont mind throwing out a refresher for you though: Kobe 4 time champion 7 time All Defensive First Team selection 7 time All NBA First Team selection 2 time Scoring Champ 11 time NBA All-Star and 3 All-Star MVP's 1 NBA Finals MVP 1 NBA MVP Lowry I got nothing. The only thing comparable these two guys have is they both have been on two different teams, even if it was very brief for Kobe.
This is an undercover "Tmac or Adelman" thread. Superstar with ego or Team player. But it has failed terribly because Kobe has something that Tmac has lacked all the time he has been with the Rockets - heart. Kobe is probably the only superstar in the NBA that goes 100% every freeeekin game.
This isn't an undercover T-mac thread. I would have outright said it. You drew the parallel on your own.
