Clearly you are just as much a homer as the poster you responded to.

    Lowry plays defense?

Oh yeah, Conley has been good longer than 1 year. Lowry has a breakout year at 28 and now he's cashing in ala Chris Johnson.

In my opinion, Lowry is worth no more than what Jamal Crawford got which is 5 dimes. That's what one dimensional players are worth.

Lowry has never cared about playing defense or improving his game since he's been in the league, he did get marginally better at decision-making. But defense and actually running a team from the pg spot he's pretty much the same guy that he was when he came into the league.

No bigger Lowry fan than me. I wanted him on the Rockets when he was battling it out in Memphis with Conley.

But whomever pays him $40+ million over the next 4 years is gonna get screwed. Kyle is 28 years old. He has played hard all his career. And his body type is susceptible to injury especially as he moves into his 30's. My prediction is he goes down with significant injury in a year or two and his game starts fading. I think we've already seen the best we're ever going to see of Kyle Lowry. He's not worth that kind of big dollar risk. Especially with the overabundance of PG talent in this league.

He was touted as looking like the average couch potato from off the street. Stocky and certainly shorter than his listed height.

Lowry's DRating is the same as Conley's.

Lowry's ORating is significantly higher than Conley's.

Lowry's Win Shares are much higher than Conley's.

Lowry is a better 3pt shooter and rebounder.

Lowry averages more assists and gets to the line more. Higher ast% and free throw rate.

Not sure if srs. Not a debate here.

Asking for 10-12 million is a good thing, means that it wouldn't be too crazy for him to sign here for 9 million a year.

I would give Lowry 4 years 40 million if we end up not getting Love or Melo.

What's lowry win share in any season prior to last year? The other thing is that Lowery plays with a bunch of iso players that can barely play basketball, while Conley is on a team with Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph, both of who are better than any player on the raptors. Look at the totals in those areas that you are talking about and you'll see with 1 less year conley obliterates lowry on average.

Hell, I could ask the members of this board who'd they want lowry or conley and conley would crush lowry. If lowery was so great how come morey dumbed him for lin? bwbawbabwba

Lowry was traded for the Toronto pick that brought in Harden.

Morey would have never dumped Lowry for Lin.

And now he wasn't james harden money. So lowry is better than James Harden. Would you trade Harden for Lowry?

    Harden received a max contract.

Lowry will not receive a max contract.

    Next.

12 million is not Max? I would argue it is in this day in age. Harden got in under the old system.

Look at Ginobili's win shares. Doesn't matter if you have good teammates.

    Start a pole.

Worth every penny, and I'm actually surprised how reasonable it is. It Morey can convince him to come back, he might take closer to 10 due to less taxes (I hope).
