If Kyle is ranked 66 thus far (out ranked by S. Marion and Brand), which shows this is just a bunch of out of work NBA writers trying to validate their paychecks. But it also means to me that Scola, Martin, Lee, Bud havent been ranked yet and are sure to be mentioned soon. The Rockets will have 5 of the top 66 players in the league. With Patterson and Morris steadily rising in the ranks, we clearly have the talent on this team. Morey haters it was written.
they havent been mentioned yet and according to the rules they are using every player has to be mentioned. Thabeet and Parson were ranked for god sakes. Sure they were in the 300's but still ranked.
They had PatPat at 200 or so. Once I saw that, I lost faith. They had SCRUBS/FILTH ahead of Patterson.
He will be once he continues his performance from last season and prove to people he wasn't just a half season wonder.
I liked Zach Lowe's top 100 list a lot better. I didn't agree with all of it, but it was obviously well-researched -- plus he put Lowry at #56.
There are 150 starters in the league. 66 is in the upper half of NBA starters. I think that's about right for Kyle.
Its pretty much just a list ranked by PPG. The final 10 players will be straight up opinion. Not much analytical perception taken in account here. Pretty sure most writers for ESPN neither watch any Rockets games or share in the advanced computer analytics that the Rockets use to evaluate their talent. In the world of the "eye test" vs "computer age", ESPN collumists use neither in regards to the Rockets. Dont get your feelings hurt. Knowing what most Rockets fans know, Id take Lowry over 90% of the starting PG's in the entire NBA.
yea who cares what some bozo from ESPN thinks. WE know what our players are capable of. If this "list" bothers you, that just means you are worried about what other people think of your team. WHO THE **** CARES
........wow, you didn't have to even look at the list to know Bud and Lee aren't close to top 100 talent. Craziness.
