Yes but look at it this way ! AB was rushing in the beggining trying to do too much cause he knows he has to run this team now. His turnovers were in the first half. Lowry just got to Houston today so you have to expect those TO's !! It should get better.....

I think Lowry played pretty damn well considering this is the first time he has played with this team and doesn't know anything about this team offensively and defensively. Rafer has gotten lit up plenty of times, yet, listening to some of the people in this thread and on this board, Rafter was one of the All-Time great PGs, a great passer, and dominant, lockdown defender, and big time scorer and a great leader. Like he was one of the All-Time Greats.

I liked his speed and finishing at the hole.

A couple of passes to yao were suspect, but I'm sure that will get better as time goes forward.

His D will improve, don't doubt that at all.

    You people are rediculous.
First of all, TonyRock, you are an idiot. Go back to grammer school r****d. "Rockets is lucky tonight". You cannot be taken seriously when you talk like a dumba$$.

Lowry just said in the post game interview he had no idea what he was doing while he was out there. The coaches were showing him plays to run during timeouts and while the Mavs were taking free throws.

He looked back when Barrea was draining shots while Kyle was going behind screens, but that is because the defense we run compared to what the Grizz run.

The Grizz typically have athletic 4's playing with him and if you have ever watched a game where the Rockets played the Grizzleys', they switch on everything! That is why he was getting beat going behind the screen, he will learn that the Rockets play straight up and we fight through screen.

Perhaps you downers should give him more than one walkthrough to learn the offense.

Did your boss' criticize you the first time you worked the Drive-Thru window at your job and got a CheeseBurger mixed up with a Hamburger?

yea, and Rafer played 29 minutes against the Bobcats while Kyle played 14 minutes against the Mavericks. I'll watch box scores and still come to the same leauge wide conclusion. Rafer Alston sucks.

Kyle Lowry is a better fit for this Houston Rockets team than Rafer has ever been, and in the long run I am guessing that he will be a better fit than Aaron Brooks.

Remembered a long pass to Yao in a fast break that finallly turned over, I guessed it was from lowery. :)
Any rocket player knows it's not that way to pass the ball to Yao. :D

By the way, Lowry has to improve his 3 point defence.

I dont know if its been posted but i got a kick out of it after reading the Rafer Lovers comments.

    Rafer Alston 1-9 shooting 0-3 3pt 1 TO 8 Ast 3 pts.

    how do you figure?

we just played the softest, weakest, fakest contender outside of Arizona in the western conference, and we are missing 2 of our strongest players.

The Mavericks are missing Jason Terry.......whatever dude. Squash your obvious disdain over the Rafer trade, you're acting like it's 1993 and we just traded Kenny Smith. We dumped Rafer Alston for Christ's sake, the NBA equivalent of Adam Everett.

Lowry showed his potential as a physical, havoc-creating defender. He misplayed some of the pick and rolls (and Barea burned us), but that will come with more familiarity.

On offense, he was a little out of control at times, but I like the way he attacks the basket hard looking to draw contact.
