How quick people forget these "D-Leaguers" and "scrubs" who come out of nowhere and play their @sses off. Clearly you haven't seen this "D-leaguer" play. Barea is averaging 13 and 4 while only playing 23 minutes a game over the last month of so.

You mean like a team with Jason Kidd at the PG spot?

If you know some basketball, you can appreciate with Barea that here is a GOOD PLAYER. He reads very good the game (better than any of our guards), he's fast, he has good shot, can penetrate and he's smart and skilled.

That's not a NBDL player. And Barea has already played very well in some games this season.

Seriously? If you were going to make this thread - at least make it after Lowry actually outperform Rafer. This thread is a joke.

Rafer Alston played a good game... if you didn't watch it and just go by the boxscore then you wouldn't know.

His defense was really good, and he controlled the floor. He brought the ball up every possession and still ended up with 8 assists and 1 turnover (8:1 turnover ratio) with 3 steals. That's a great line for your point. Aaron Brooks had a much better game in term of scoring and also dished out 8 assists but had 4 turnover (2:1 turnover ratio) with 2 steals.

While Kyle Lowry had 6 pt, 2 assist and 4 turnover (1:2 turnover ratio).

    Rafer > Kyle Lowry... tonight.

In the long run - who knows? Hopefully Kyle Lowry does turn out to be better...

I know what your saying but you have to admit he has only done this a couple of times this season. He is only getting these minutes because Terry is out. I will agree he has potential but until he does this game in game out he's a bench player at best. Also we gave him many wide open jumpers as well.

JJB got by AB pretty easy, but I have to put the blame on our big guys for not closing out the lane and pushing him back out rather than giving him the easy tear drop/ layup.

Why are you so worried ? Did you watch the game ? If we found out anything tonight its that Lowry can play some serious D.... It would be nice if AB had the size and D of Lowry but hey AB has the offensive game ! Only time will tell its just one game with this new back court !!!!

Had a bad game. Didn't drive to the basket like his usual self, settled for those long jumpers.

    It'll be alright.
