I'm sorry but comparing this to Magic is silly...

They were dropping the "Flu-like symptoms" card....

I wouldn't have been too concerned if we had another decent point guard to backup Dragic, but we don't. Cortson is just not good enough.

some people are sensitive to antibiotics and the side effects can linger for months.

I took extremely strong antibiotics for one year. I still drank alcohol at the same time. Probably not the smartest thing I have ever done.

Quit overreacting. They're not covering up anything. They gave us the time table. Y'all just didn't take that seriously. That's why Bill said he may not come back and then everyone jumped on him for implying it.

He's going to need at least 2 weeks to get back in shape after he's cleared for practice. I don't see him coming back. Best case, maybe for 2-3 games in aback up role. Obviously i wish him well, but this kills his trade value and the Rockets may be forced to let Dragic walk.

Sounds like he's done this year, if he was coming back they would have said when already. They been kind of dark over the situation for a while now. Hopefully, Dragic continues to do well, and either Fortson gets better, or we bring in a solid back up point. Hope Lowry waits until he's healthy and makes a full recovery!

Just wondering because I had that bacteria, and chit is not funny, took me a few months to be back myself after ending up in the emergency 2 times within a week..

How does this kill his trade value? Lowry will be perfectly healthy by the time we could trade any players anyways, and this almost certainly won't be some long-term issue. He's a still a boss of a PG as he's shown throughout this year.

And yeah, people who are freaking about it something more serious... it is serious from the start. I personally suspect he got bacterial meningitis, as it's pretty damn similar to when I got it. And that's a disease that 50-60 years ago, was a death sentence.

Knew this was going to happen, Rockets are infamous for downplaying injuries especially potential season ending ones.

    Full tank mode!

It has zero effect on Lowry's trade value. It's not an injury... team already know how good he is and this will have no effect on his play next season. I think if anything, it makes it more likely that we re-sign Dragic, especially if we make the playoffs and he starts through them.

    How is that?

Lowry being out even longer is only going to make Goran's price tag go up.

We need Kyle to come back and depress Goran's value a little bit if we're going to have any reasonable shot at retaining him.

Because it makes it more likely that Morey will offer him the starting role and pay him big money.
