Lowry hit with possibly the worst offensive foul call ever!

The offensive foul call was beyond horrible, one of the worst I've seen for a long while.

The tech was bad too. But I'd give the refs a pass due to Lowry's past. It's kind of like Rasheed Wallace lite.

 

I would give him T if he didn't run off. Any normal human-being with healthy emotional state would do what Lowry did.

 

This is ridiculous, I just don't understand how anyone can vote justified.

End of the game, you can't call that, even if it were an attempt at drawing a foul via the leg kick.

This reminded me of Tim Duncan getting ejected for laughing.. NBA referees sometimes get brain fart...

 

Sometimes referees let emotion get in the way of their job. When they feel disrespected or threatened, they'll do the only thing they can, which is to call a phantom foul or call a technical. I didn't watch the game but knowing how Lowry is, I wouldn't be surprised if they had it out for him and made sure to focus on Lowry's every single move. Even then, Dirk Nowitzki does that crap all the time and I've never seen him get a foul.

 

Been saying for years, awarding a point for "poor conduct"/alleged poor conduct is the dumbest rule in pro sports. Make some sort of review and monetary fine system. Pretty sure Dr. Naismith didn't have score changes for conduct in mind when creating this game.

2 points for putting the ball in the basket, 1 point if opposing player swears or stands up and runs down the court in a manner that the ref (possibly crooked ref) doesn't like. Something about that doesn't make a lick of sense to me.

Take this power out of the ref's hands. Let the league office handle conduct issues post-game.

 

NBA officiating borders on the criminal (like the refs are getting paid).

 

Pretty stupid of Bill saying that one of the offensive fouls on Dwight against MIL was the worst call in a long time, given that this happened this week. Is he (and Matt) living in a box?
