It is as fair as people thinking that Lowry being the starting PG against the Knicks is some sort of vindication of their Lowry should start argument. DD
I agree, the guy was fat, and out of shape at the beginning of training camp, then hurt his knee, and back spasms and came into the season fat and out of shape too. That doesn't change anything, what he does on the floor when tasked with something is irrelevent to his weight etc.... His performance is his performance, no excuses.... His weight didn't force him to take all those 3pt shots, his weight didn't force him to have a poor assist to turnover ratio.... He is just playing poorly. DD
You know, DD, and with all due respect, if someone flat out called you a liar, you would go ballistic. Not cool, man, especially when aimed at a respected member like Mr. Clutch.
If I was lying, and got called out (which has happened btw), you just have to take it. Maybe he should have researched the truth before posting the untruth. DD
Since Lowry starts, we win two games, did you watch Indian-rockets game? Without Lowry, we can not win it, Go to AB if you need someone who can hit the broadside, but who also led the team to 0-4 record.
I guess you are missing the point of my argument. History tells us Kyle won't be playing this poorly throughout the year. That's why I'm saying it's a bit unfair. If we knew he played like this all the time, then, it would be a fair assessment. But it's all an opinion, I'll let you go back to your superlative agenda of making your argument for Brooks.
Do you REALLY think it was necessary though? Ugh, this is the reason why I don't post much here anymore.
Deckard, I took it for years.....so now, I am the bad guy for giving some of it back? No, but at some point, you just get tired of others slamming you with half truths and misrepresentations all the time and decide to hit them back..... DD
History also says that Brooks will be a better fit with Yao because of his 3pt shooting. History says that Kyle is a great backup, but when asked to start his numbers do not trend up proportionally. It is not my agenda at all, I am just adding some realistic perspective to the Lowry guys.... Meh, it is both sides, just arguing the same thing.....over and over...I will concede that. We will all let Adelman decide........I think the Brooks supporters will just have to be content with knowing the coach and GM agrees with them. DD
You know ... there is a big assumption here. You are speculating that he is lying (which implies intential misrepresentation) versus simply making an error (no intention to lie). Telling someone they are incorrect and providing the correct data is a valid response. Telling them they are lying is insulting, especially when there is no clear evidence of that. Just an observation from a neutral third party.
Ok, valid point...I stand corrected, and Mr. Clutch, I apologize and will edit my post appropriately. DD
I never said Lowry should start, in fact in my first post in this thread I said Brooks is the better overall player. However, I must point out that Yao's and Brook's history together has less relevancy now due to Aaron's change of role last year. Last year Brooks was asked to be the main scorer with no Yao and he grew more into a a great scoring guard. This Year they are asking him to play a different role and I think he's going through an adjustment period. The whole team is.
Agreed, but the history of the playoffs where AB and Yao were playing well and thriving is more relevent, agreed? DD
