I feel the Heat could get an undrafted guy and replicate Landale's production and Brooks is meh....

The Heat are actually great at finding role players so Brooks and Landale would not matter as much to them as to the Rockets especially with Miami being already a tough team under Spoelstra. They have Kel'el Ware, Jaquez and Nikola Jovic who are arguably better than both Houston players.

I am betting they are after picks or they let Butler go.

Watching butler this season I haven’t been overly impressed he heat needed him badly tongiht in the second half against the knicks when he came back in the game to a close game and he wasn’t a difference maker at all. He had a nice long rest and just was underwhelming. I would not give up more than one of our core assets for him and a protected FRP. He’s not the guy to mortgage the future over. Now Bam is a different story.

Im glad Stone is hoarding his assets. Most of the trade rumors involving Houston suck from my perspective. it always have us giving up significant pieces for an over the hill player who’s closer to 35 than 30. We didn’t give a up a lot to get cp3 and he’s was better at that time the players were rumored to be interested in

Jimmy would look nice without giving up anything substantial, he is just not a shooter.

    No thanks.

    I’ll take Herro though.

Ummmm I mean, I guess if it was a bunch of cap filling contracts and a semi protected first round pick.

but I don’t even really wanna send Green to the bench at this point. As inefficient as he is, I think we need that skill set/athleticism in the lineup.

I feel the same. It's working, don't mess the chemistry up with this old frequently injured former star player that's been a chemistry killer in the past.
