Despite of all the talented FA's, Rockets needs to concentrate with a true center which is the team really needed for us to compete with any team.
The full MLE is $5.854M. The Rockets apparently have used less than half of the MLE (~$2.315M) on Anderson. That leaves the Rockets with about $3.539M remaining to go after another free agent. Of course, Morey would like to keep some of that money (less than $2M of it) to sign the rookies to longer-term deals. But if there is a veteran out there would could really help the Rockets, both in the short term and in the long term, then Morey will not hesitate to use that remaining money.
Even with David A., I totally agree with you because that is the position that is still the weakest link in the team. Strengthening that position must be of utmost importance.
why is anyone even considering Wilcox? Y'all do know we already have a bunch of undersized PFs that can only "try" to play center, right? Just because Wilcox can come at a good deal doesn't mean it's a good idea to get him, at least not without getting rid of someone else..
He signed with Detroit... http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4338838 I liked his style of play and honestly just insurance for the young guys/Andersen
