Morey probably shops at Big Lots! and the Dollar store. He finds deals, even in the most unlikely of places. I heard thats where he found Von.

You are being a bit anal here don't you think? I wrote something based on what I heard Morey say. And then I looked for a list of free agents that are still available. A found a complete list of available free agents 2009 and this remaining list from espn and used it. If you read my article you would see I was talking about how Morey was trying to steal some cheap gems off the fa and has nothing to do with thier article other than the list of free agents. I even put a disclaimer saying that some of those fa's are not available now. But if you are not happy with my documentation here is your link www.espn.com. Place it wherever makes you feel the most happy.

David Lee would kind of be perfect.

But low balling him would mean New York could match easily. Lee will be a bloated contract IF he leaves NY.

Any FA we sign needs to be at the center position. The reason why we didn't go farther in the playoffs was our lack of size at the inside once Yao went out.

Marquis Daniels has already been signed by the Celtics.

Rasho and his family have set up permanent residence in Toronto and the talk is that it's his #1 choice by a wide margin. Toronto can offer the $1.99 mil MLE at most, so it will take a decent offer to make him look seriously at any other teams. $2.5 million would be the minimum money to sway him, likely more.

That said, the Raptors are waiting to see if Indiana matches their offer for Jack before extending the LLE or minimum contracts to anyone else. It's possible that things don't fall into place and Colangelo has to set new targets removing themselves as an option for him and he has no choice but to look elsewhere.

Earl Watson looks like he's going to Indy, which signals Jack may become a Raptor, but this offseason has proven that nothing is set in stone til the contract is signed.

This does not make sense since Wilcox is not Detroit's free agent.

how about we get boone or williams from NJ? both legit 6'10 and can play 5 or 4. boone has an expiring contract while williams has another year left. i'm sure cook's or barry's expiring + a future 2nd rounder might do it.

    12. Marquis Daniels, Pacers (UFA)
    Teams interested: Pacers, Rockets, Mavericks
Salary range: $2.5-4 million per year
Daniels is coming off one of the best seasons of his career. He's 28, in the prime of his career and really could help a team coming off the bench. He just has to come to grips with the fact that he won't make $7 million a year anymore.

I don't think there is another FA on that list that could be as good in the Rockets offense as Marquis would.

If we would happen to sign him, I believe our playoff hopes would be somewhat saved. IMO
