Well that's fair, I feel like someone, including Caserio should have done more. It end up not mattering because the SA stuff popped up (and man if it wouldn't how bad would this FO look for scaring away its only franchise QB?) I guess Watson just knew this place wasn't going to change either way.
I understand everybody wants Ben Johnson but he has no ties or mutual friendship or anything to Caserio. Has only coached in Miami and been everywhere with Dan Campbell
If they interview him again he’s getting the job. It makes no sense to interview the guy twice last off-season and then bring him in for an interview this off-season and not hire him. But then again we are talking about the Texans so I guess you never know.
we've had three black head coaches in a row, including Romeo. And we considered Flores. It's not like the Texans won't hire a black head coach. The next head coach--regardless of race--needs to do better, and the cap space and draft picks are there such that they need someone better than Lovie.
Caserio should be following Lovie out the door. Lovie gets held responsible for what's happened but Nick gets another free pass to f**k up again. Having been in the room with Belichick must have given Nick immunity.
