Yeah, I'm not sure. I saw a study that said about 75% of black-white marriages are black male-white women. And by the same token about 75% of Asian-White Marriages are white male/asian woman. Furthermore, of black-asian couples, 86% were black male-asian woman. I believe this information comes from actual US Cenus Data.

Assuming a roughly 50% male/female distribution, I'm not sure how you reconcile those numbers. It makes me wonder if Black Women and Asian Males do have more trouble than others in finding a spouse.

I can understand people marrying within the same religion, that makes obvious sense (shared values, maybe language, and a philosophy of life etc). There are people that won't consider marrying someone from outside of their linguistic group or nationality, that is OK too. It is the marrying based on someone's color or ethnicity absent of all other considerations that I am referring to.

There are people who can't have sex because of some physical condition who get married. There are women who marry guys serving life in prison or on death row. Believe it or not there actually are people who don't like sex yet still want to get married.

I don't know anything about it and have no proof one way or the other. All I have are those statistics, which yes, do make me "wonder."
