But now that he's cheap and the last year is a team option next summer/ winter it will be much easier to get back a first for him.

 

They finally have a guard they can build a team around.

Free agents of 2018 are so sad they missed the 2016 boat. Even 2017 free agents were probably shaken up. Scrubs like Mozgov and Deng were getting $16M+/year contracts everyone was licking their chops.

 

Lou just got his 14th straight double digit scoring game off the bench, breaking Jamal Crawford's old record.

 

They started a rookie in place of Avery Bradley so Lou could get this dubious record

 

Isn't this what the NBA is about sometimes, making silly statistical goals.

Most records and stats like this are meaningless to me really, so I understand all the critical remarks. I just liked him, and at times miss having Beverley, Harrell, and Lou on our team. That's all. It's nice to see him being appreciated and doing good. Our fans on here can really be really hateful and just ugly towards some of our players at times.

 

How am I hating? Because I'm not going to give praise to Lou Williams on a record that is, in your own words, meaningless?

Just because I call out a record for being, as you called it, meaningless doesn't mean I hate the guy or don't like him. As far as "being appreciated", I think the general consensus around here was that we liked Lou on this team, present company included.

No, I didn't mean you hate on players. I meant the hate threads that go onto this site. You were just being critical of my comment, along with a few others, and probably just didn't realize I was just happy he is doing good somewhere else, and sharing that. I think a lot of stats are silly really. I don't even like awards like MVP in team sports, because it focuses on one person, instead of what the whole team did together.

You guys are the first posters in Clutchfans history who apologized and responded to the apology within 10 minutes in a thread that posted a meaningless record.

 

I've seen plenty of meaningless records posted about players and our teams, whether it is Rockets or Texans. A stat for this, a stat for that, a stat about a stat, and blah blah blah blah. They only mean something to people who simply love stats, value their meaning, or simply appreciates someone doing well. Speaking of meaning, did this post have any meaning other than to be demeaning and critical towards me for posting about Lou having a good year so far?
