Lou Williams signs three-year extension with Clippers

Looks like the clippers are gonna get good value and build a very nice asset.

It appears they are trying to take the Rockets approach of staying relevant while rebuilding.

Typical Lou Williams deal. He’s more fascinated with living somewhere like La and just ballin out. He could have gotten way more money.

He doesn't have nearly the impact on the game that some people think he has, but for some instant offense, 8.5 million is crazy cheap.

Not sure if he just loves LA, or if his agent told him the market is gonna be dry. Seems like he could have gotten a better deal than that easily.

In the end Lou has been a free agent how many times? I'd say at least 3...and even if he has been a six man of the year for years, he never got big offers as a free agent so, yeah, i guess most of teams have a similar idea about his impact on the game. Add that it's looking like teams won't spend much money this summer...

He's thinking there's going to be a big cash crunch this offseason.

My eyes opened with Mirotic wanted his contract picked up. That's not a heft price on a 1 year deal and he was prepared to rot in Chicago unless someone guaranteed that option.

Normally guys having great years can't wait to get to free agency.
