Those are old dude, at the time we were like in the 8th spot for the playoffs, the rockets are currently in terms of mock drafts are around(12-14, borderline), pretty much if you don't make the playoff you're in the top 14.... --RB
Well if the rockets could pull of a trade with the Jazz that could land them NY's first pick(which has lost some value given that the knick's actually have a shot at the playoffs)...the rockets could have two top 14 picks, giving them possibilities to trade those two picks for a top 5 pick....cough*Derrick Favors*cough --RB
They screwed up that mock draft. The top 8 teams from both conferences go to the playoffs and are excluded from the lottery. The bottom 7 teams from both conferences go to the lottery. The only team it changes, is if there is a draft pick owed from a previous trade. They have only 4 teams for the West, but have 10 teams for the east. Raptors, Bobcats, and Bulls would be in the playoffs for the East and ineligible for a lottery pick. The Knicks traded their 2010 draft pick to the Jazz in 2004 by Isiah Thomas, as part of the Gugliotta trade. In this lottery there would be 8 Western teams and 5 Eastern teams. ESPN has the correct mock lottery. http://espn.go.com/nba/lottery2010/mockdraft
I really need coffee. Isiah traded the draft pick to Phoenix as part of the Marbury trade. Phoenix traded NY's 1st round draft pick to the Jazz to get Gugliotta(expiring contract).
