awesome... Ariza is playing horrible and is taking too many shots, Chuck is no offensive powerhouse but plays his role DAMNED WELL, Shane is inconsistent offensively, Carl is being double teamed now so he isn't putting up great numbers and the two best players we have on the team are our points (even though Aaron has his moments) Luis is good but he hasn't and honestly i don't think he can take his game to another level... we are in desperate need of some help as a team but the Trade dealine is little more than 3 weeks away.... hopefully we can get an injection of energy to bring this team back to life... until then we're going to be what we are now

P Squared is working hard to be a Scola/Chuck/Landry hybrid. He has been shooting outside (making threes this season and learning to take his man off the dribble) and he's doing better defensively (though not nearly as great as Chuck - but better than the other two) and he can dunk off two feet. You'd love him! I'm not ready to throw in the towel, but if we do get Patrick, that's the best case scenario after ending up missing the playoffs. At least.. best case since we can't have my John John.
OH speaking of lottery we are only 2 games out of the 4th seed in the West...that means home court. Let not get our panties in a wod now "rocket fans"
getting a good lottery pick would be nice... after all the playoffs are too much to bother with when your team is broken.

So either Morey makes a big move and we make playoffs or Morey doesnt make move, we get top 10 pick (possibly) + MLE player (likely if we dont make move this year) + retain Scola and Lowry.. Sure playoffs are better, but its almost a win win for us this year with no expectations.....of course we could always make the playoffs w/o making a move too

conspiracy theory: what if the rockets have been tanking the last month and we just dont know it yet. confused? what if JT and cbud really are lighting it up in practice over battier and ariza but coach plays the battriza combo to better the chance of losing? same as to why he didnt play landry the whole fourth a few games ago, same as to why he plays anderson more than hayes now and scola still starts over landry....every gm in the league would chose landry over scola yet on our team landry cant get past scola because of loyalty. I heard a couple years ago Scola only came to nba to start, if rockets bench him, oh boy we dont need another drama.
