damn you guys are picky, you cares about the quality. i just need a LOR fix and this was perfect aas for the DVD was thinking seeing how i haven't bought any yet i might wait till next year and just get a box set of the triology, wonder if i can wait.
The screening version on LOTR is cut considerably. The expanded DVD for the movie was way longer than the theater version. I have a feeling they will do the same thing with TTT. It might be around 4hrs in the theater but even longer on the DVD set. They cut a lot of storyline and scenery graphics that are not needed for the overall viewing. All those were included in the dvd though. ( the 4 or 5 disk expanded version).
Everybody has their own tastes and opinions. Its OK for you to not like LOTR. I will admit that it has to fall into your tastes to be able to like it.
