There is a website that tracks the use of the numbers in the show. http://thenumbers.greatestjournal.com/
so they're still trying to figure out what the "thing" is on the island? I tried watching it but can't get into it.
It was a badass season finale. I only hope the 2nd season of Lost doesn't jump the shark similiar to Alias.
Speaking of Alias, I never really watch, but I stopped on it last night. What was up with that cheap CGI ball floating over that building that they had to stop? What kind of weapon was that? I thought this show was supposed to have some plausability.
It's a "character" show first, fantasy/sci-fi show second. If you are interested in the latter but not the former, then don't tune in, because you will end up hating the series. What I don't get is that people honestly expected to learn the secret behind the monster in the show's first freaking season and are actually upset about it (not really talking about anyone here, mind you). Jesus, people. That's like saying Maddie and David should have hooked up immediately on "Moonlighting" or that Scully and Mulder should have uncovered the vast alien conspiracy on the "X-Files" after like 3 episodes. Learn some patience and go along with the ride.
A couple things that I observed/want to know about this past season: 1) What the hell did Locke see down the hatch after Boone died? If you remember, he ran back to the hatch after dropping Boone off to Jack and there was a bright light down the hatch...what the hell did he see?? 2) Obviously Michael, Jin, and Sawyer will survive...they have to, right?? I knew they shouldnt have fired the flare, damnit Michael, shoulda followed your gut... 3) Walt is bad luck...duh, while reading a book on birds, one slams into the window and dies...his mom dies...his step father gives him away...the "pirates," the "others," or whatever they are want him because of that... 4) The "others" are going after the baby next...In the episode about Claire, she goes to a fortune teller who tells her to not give the baby away or something like that? I dont remember exactly, maybe one of you guys can fill me in on this one...but whatever was said, it deals with the "others" wanting/getting the baby... 5) I knew that Charlie was going to take the heroin...he felt like he was in heaven when Locke told him the plane was filled with it... 6) Hurley is my favorite character...but damn, I feel sorry for him...after hitting a 156 million dollar lottery cause of those numbers, he's had nothing but bad luck...grandfather dies, mom breaks her ankle, new house is burning down and cops think he did it...Another thing I dont remember clearly - he got the numbers from that crazy guy in the mental institute, what was the story behind that again?? 7) I cant wait til next season...
Hope When was the last time Sawyer (my favorite character) made a good decision, other than telling Jack about the conversation with his dad. He also warned as Hurley did, not to open the hatch. Maybe the first time a black kid was chosen over a white one for adoption. Good thing it wasn't weed, in that case he would have eaten the Polar bear by himself. I don't know but his journey to the airport was funny as hell. Me either
Haha, I liked these comments...you should be a comedian... For the rest of you guys that are like me and AB, I give you...something to kill the time until next season starts...
my girl started watching this show so I watched alittle but after awhile it got annoying. In the end I think they are going to find out that they've been dead all this time and none of it was real ala the sixth sense. Peace.
