I can't wait for the season finale. Man...two hours of 24 this week to end the season, now two hours of Lost.
what episode is the finaly? i watched until episode 23. i love this show, my girlfriend and i watch it the moment i get it on my pc. I like Said(Sp). he has a very sad story, however the black guy with his child also have a very sad history.
It seems just about every character has a "daddy issue" on the show: Kate, Jack, Locke, Sawyer, Walt, Jin (well, father-in-law), Sun, and Claire (her baby's daddy). Weird.
The finale is going to have to be VERY good to be up there with the 24 finale...but I am hopeful. Then I will be sad because my 2 favorite shows will be off for awhile. Alias ends tonight as well...I hate May Sweeps
Spoiler Holy Nitro-Glycerine!!! Ok, I was sort of expecting that, but then I thought, this guy might be a character for next season. Nope, he got blowed the hell up.
Spoiler Yes, definately, I wouldn't have minded if he would've stayed on for another season. He was very funny...I liked how he stated the fact that it wasn't just the main cast doing stuff, that there were 40 more survivors on the island. lol...Arzt...we hardly knew ye.
Holy crap...the last few minutes were great. I'm just more lost than ever. I guess Rousseau was right...the others were coming after the boy. WALT! Who were those men? How did they know? And where the hell does that hatch lead to? Now I have to wait until the fall? CURSES!
It didn't look like Sawyer got a shot off. He pulled the gun and then they shot him. Damn, I have never anticipated the next season of a show the way I do this one, excellent television, but I hope they don't drag it out. This show has to end at some time. I think 3 seasons might be just about enough.
Possible spoilers below. *********************************************** Pirates! Argh! Give me that there damn boy! Argh! Shiver me timbers! What the heck? There seems to be monster and human activity all plotting against these folk. I guess he shouldn't of shot the flare eh? So, now their in the water and their boat is kaboom! How the heck are they gonna live on to the next season? I have to admit...I am completely dumbfounded in coming up with any kind of explanation for what is going on. Be afraid of the numbers! Numbers...bad! Now, we get to climb down the endless shaft all the way to BFE. Their child molestors who have conjured spirits is all I can gather. Squeel like a pig, boy! Weeeeeeeeeeee!
That scene in the ocean was unbelievable. To see them go from elation to being scared out of their minds was traumatizing.
Small little tidbit...if you have a DVR, go check back to Hurley running through the airport. He passes a girls soccer team. Take a guess to what numbers they are wearing on thier jerseys?
Yea...you wanna talk about numbers? Here's a devoted fan site about all the numbers. http://thenumbers.greatestjournal.com/
First season spoiler: Locke (backgammon guy) was on the plane. Ethan Rom (the guy who kidnapped Claire and was subsequently shot by Charlie) was not on the plane. Hurly went through the planes manifest and made a point to point out that Ethan wasn't on it. Ethan was probalby affiliated with the pirates that kidnapped Walt.
was it just me or did the 'pirates' who kidnapped Walt seemed to be a not-so-distant future look a like of Michael and Sawyer? If it is...that is pretty trippy.
That finale SUCKED!!! Other than Walt and the rest of the guys on the raft, in what way did this episode further the storyline? We still have no clue what's down that shaft. We still have no idea what's up with the numbers. No new information on the baby. And no real glimpse of the monster. This was like a 25 episode long c-cktease. I've already been suckered in once by J.J. Abrams with Alias(and at least that had 2 years of solid episodes before going to hell). I'm not falling for it again. He's got the season premiere this fall to address every single mystery I mentioned above or I'm done with this crap.
Didn't you see the shape-shifting black cloud mass? Freaky. Reminded me of the book, "Prey." Sawyer was indeed shot, and Jin jumped off the boat after him. Something tells me the "ripple" we saw repeatedly in the water was NOT the wake from the Others' boat, but... something else.
Well, if that's your ultimatum, don't even watch the season premiere. I'm not expecting all the answers the first show back and you shouldn't either. And they did answer a big question...about the others. We got to actually SEE the others. I wasn't expecting that.
