    From what I remember he explosives were hooked up to the electrical wiring of the plane so why wouldn't it of blown up by now?

    Yeah, kind of. It's funny that after denying that the Island was purgatory, they made the flash sideways kind of like purgatory. A temporary afterlife before moving on to the next one.

    got teary-eyed a couple of times. loved the finale.


    question though, why didn't Ben go with the others to the plane instead of with Hurley and Jack. i don't remember him saying anything.
