One question I have I think will be answered next episode. What will it take to kill MIB/Smokey/Flocke? As seen last episode all the bullets in the world won't kill him. The other Asian guy says you can't let him speak one word or it is too late. It took a knife in the back by Ben to kill Jacob. If I had to guess Desmond is the only person that can kill Flocke. Which is why he ordered Sayid to kill him.
You see this is one that bugs me. I kind of took the talking thing as he can be really persuasive. I mean in each instance he has convinced the person with reason. I'm not sold on it being a literal translation. If that were the case, how would Sawyer or Jack go against him?
there are too many questions that need to be answered in the 2 and 1/2 hours time it seems. i guess we will find out though.
i was wondering about this, but i don't think richard/ben/miles put the C4 in the plane.. first, i don't think they'd have C4.. they went to get dynamite. second, the plane was guarded by widmore's men, so i don't think they would have been able to get around the guards w/o killing them.. i thin know that the sub is blown up, everyone left will be trying to get to the plane.. i feel a meeting coming up soon, since richard & co. are trying to blow up the plane.
Illana made a comment after Jacob was killed that Flocke was stuck this way. That obviously doesn't mean he can't turn back into smoke but I think it means he can't take any other human form than Locke's right now.
Now that we've come this far...let's all comment on how ridiculously pointless the whole Walt being special story-line was, or just his character in general. The show really pushed him as one of center pieces of the whole LOST story at the beginning and now we can basically forget he even existed
You're probably right, but I think it has more to do with him growing up over the years. I know they showed him once older, but that mad esnes as it was the future. At least somewhat. I feel like if they really knew what they wanted to do that far back, they should have tried to film some stuff with him early on. It would have been tough to keep it under wraps for so long though. On a similar note, I hope they explain the child birth on the island thing.
I could be wrong, obviously. But every time I think I know better than the creators of LOST they prove that they knew better than me. Much like Daryl Morey, actually. Both Morey and the LOST bosses have earned my undying trust. Neither has let me down yet. And I no longer worry that either will. They knew how much time they had left to tell the story. I fully expect it will be told in a satisfying way.
It will be interesting to find out what has happened with Barnard and his wife on the island. Am I forgetting, or do we know what ever happened to the French chick in the jungle?
Yeah, Rousseau and Karl were shot in the jungle by Keamy and his men. They, along with Alex, were on the way to the temple because Dharmaville was too dangerous with the mercs coming for Ben. Keamy then took Alex back to New Otherton to lure Ben out and ended up killing her.
