So the question is, do you DVR Lost and watch the Rockets game live or vise versa. Since I've never watch Lost with a commercial, I think I'll Tivo Lost and watch the game live....will take everything I have not to switch over during the game, but such is life. I haven't started kicking it in the Dharma gear yet, although I do respect anyone who chooses to do so... Interesting theory, seems to fit.
I live in Austin, I'm down.....I don't really know anyone who digs the show as much I do here in the ATX.
Don't really agree with you as far as the team goes, but I paid like 190 for league pass this year and any game I miss, I consider a loss financially and emotionally.
My LOST group and I have always talked about doing it, but have steered clear until this season. It's the last time we'll have the opportunity, ya know? AAAAAH! I'm so excited they're gonna throw me in Santa Rosa Mental Institution!!!
Yeah, they had a big beach party. They showed the first hour on Saturday followed by a new episode of "Modern Family". Then they had a "V" marathon (the new one I assume) on Sunday. For anyone who's interested, I hear Darlton (Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse) will be guests on Jimmy Kimmel tonight.
Man it's gonna suck after midnight or so when I finish rewatching the -episode. I hate that can't-wait-for-next week feeling especially with the way they like to end episodes.
I agree, that dude was cool. Btw, this is a spoiler from the previous season's, not this upcoming one: Spoiler When watching last nights resume of the previous seasons, I discovered that the New John Locke (the one who is alive on the Island) is in fact this guy on the left: Just wanted to make it clear for people who, like me, didn't get it when watching the first time. I found out about this because when on the beach, the man with the black shirt told Jacob "I desperately want to kill you", and jacob answered:"you will need to find a loophole". And when New John meets Jacob, Jacob says "so you found your loophole". I don't know how the guy was able to reincarnate or whatever, but this season will have A LOT of answering to do. So much that i'm afraid they won't answer anything, and just leave you in suspense at the end of the season like they do each episode...
Spoiler Furthermore, if we base the fact that this guy is Jacob's Nemesis, and that to be able to go back to the island, John Locke needed to "die", then this could mean that the Nemesis can transform himself into anyones dead body. I'm basing this argument on the fact that the nemesis probably used Jack's fathers body, or Eko's brothers body. A nemesis is the goddess of vengeance. And often on the island certain people have seen some of their dead friends/family members to whom they have sinned. So the nemesis could be personal aswell maybe? Wow, all of this is so weird and disturbing
I know, you've got: Time traveling island...check. Ageless gods...check. Secret nuclear projects...check. Stranded islanders...check. Ghosts...check. Evil black cloud...check. Reincarnation...check. ...the list goes on and on.
^Hahah yeah its disturbing yet captivating at the same time! I'm really intrigued to find out how they will turn it all around in the end. As for my theory, what i'm basically trying to say is: Spoiler Most people think that The Black Smoke is responsible for transforming itself in people/animals from the past such as Jake's father, Walt, Yemi, Dave or Kate's Horse, the polar bear. I actually think that its the Nemesis, Jacob's enemy that can transform himself into anything from anyones past, as long as it isn't alive/on the island. If this is correct, its still just one stone on the step to the final answers
Maybe Spoiler Jacob's nemesis IS smokey. PS - I thought the comment about the loophole made it fairly obvious that the man in black was Flocke, as he is called by fans ("Fake Locke"), upon first viewing.
In the 3rd season, LOST was making a lot of filler episodes. Not a lot happened to further the plot until the very end of the episode. They brought in new characters nobody liked (Nikki and Paulo). There was conflict between the producers and ABC. The producers (Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, henceforth referred to as Darlton) wanted a definite end of the show to work towards. ABC wanted their hit show to make as many shows as possible and to continue indefinitely. Eventually, Darlton convinced ABC to set a timeline for when the show would end and they decided on 3 more seasons of roughly 13 episodes each. They've actually exceeded that total a little which is good news for us. This allowed Darlton and the writers to plot exactly how the final 3 seasons would play out without needlessly watering down or stretching out the story. The last 2 seasons have been a lot more streamlined.
Spoiler But why would Smokey possible want to harm anyone/Jacob? I remember the LOST producers saying that in the end there would be a scientific explanation to all this.
