I think she's probably Sun's doctor or something and Sawyer would go to the hospital to find Jin and then meet her.
Didn't watch the episode until this morning, been sick as a dog since Monday evening. Definitely think Sayid and probably Claire are retrievable - the Darth Vader reference by Hurley followed by Sayid (not killing Desmond) at the well. All you need is LOVE! One thing that caught me when Sayid stonewalled NotLocke....is Smokey no longer able to mind read? Nice to finally get confirmation that Christian was Smokey - and, I'd assume: on island Dave, kate's horse, Sayid's cat, backwards talking Walt, etc. "I was trying to help you get off the Island" - sometimes by trying to get you to run off the side of a cliff. Rutherford (Shannon) was a crossed out candidate...and backwards talking Walt led her to her death. I will say...I'm not 100% that pill-popper Jack was visited by Smokey in Los Angeles. I was all over the Smoke alarm too, but Smokey shouldn't be off-island - he's trapped there. I fully believe all on-island encounters were Smokey, though. Especially in light of his real life issues...awakened Desmond is awfully creepy with the ladies. And Benry thinks he's a murderous pedophile on top of it - funny. I'd assume he talks to Sawyer....who somehow works both Vice and Homicide. Desmond's (LA-X version) talking to Claire about getting a lawyer for the contract (reversible = loophole), and then Krazee Klaire saying that talking to Locke = joining Team Smokey......was Sun's apasia a loophole? Because of it, she was the only one not to talk to Smokey last night (though she did a few episodes back). There had to be a point to it....other than the cute reunion moment. Timeline X Sun remembers! Near death experience! Glad the stubborn tomato is okay - and who knows, maybe the aphasia loophole needed to happen to ensure that. The Desmond well going from bottomless pit to 10 feet deep? Did they bring in the Adam West Batman Cliffhanger writing crew for that? And tangent, but one thing that I didn't get from last week - the people dug the well because their compasses went wonky....they had compasses but still had to dig a well by hand? Huh? Additional tangent - I wanted to look up how old compasses were. Turns out the Chinese used them as far back as the times of Christ, probably a modern compass around 1000 AD. Enjoyed the twist on the Casablanca line: Off all the cars in LA, why'd you have to crash into mine? Happy to see Sawyer isn't really going for "every man for himself"...and he definitely was divided when Jack was talking to him on the boat. He knows. And nice reversal from the Oc6 helicopter scene. By the way, Sawyer, swimming with your guns is a great way to ensure they don't fire. Widmore - deal's off? Related to Desmond - now they have to take his place? I can't get tired of the brilliantly subtle throwback moments - Locke's "John - my name is John" recalling how his mom named him at the hospital (and how Ben's mom named him by the road). Sun and Locke going to the hospital a la Shannon's dad and Sarah (Jack took Sarah and her broken back). Thankfully Sun came out better than Shannon's dad. Jack was far more confident about taking care of Locke than he was about Sarah. I like the theory that seeing Locke awoke him - and this is the third time a mirror image has given him deja vu (neck wound, appendectomy scar). I'd be all for the remaining episodes being multi-centric and full ensemble cast. Hopefully Cindy and the kids weren't Widmored. Has anyone been in more episodes (including the pilot!) but meant less than Cindy? I love that they keep trotting her out. Smokey's particular fascination with Jack seems to further cement who the real Jacob candidate is going to be. Why isn't Miles' last name Chang instead of Straume in Timeline-X? His dad is there, so why change names? Faraday reverted to Widmore. Juliet as Sun's doctor would make sense. I'm half wondering if Jack's ex is Ana Lucia.
This means no LOST tonight, eh?!? Couldnt remember is this is the week off or not. Damn.... Im interested to see what teaser ABC throws at us at the end of tonight's re-run. EDIT: Looks like tonight is a re-run of the 3/23 episode featuring Richard's story.
re run but at least its one of the best episodes of the series (imo) they are repeating i guess its better for me with the mavs/spurs and thunder/lakers game going on at the same time
I'm relieved there's no new episode tonight too. I did not want to watch Lost and the Cavs game side by side.
yeah perfect night to have a break from show. need to watch the mav ponies go down and watch kevin durant put a fire under kobe's ass.
Ok, so did anyone just see that preview for next week's episode. Seems like a Claire episode is on deck...
Did they ever finish explaining the whole giving birth if conceived on the island no go, or is that still a loose end? Can't remember...
I don't think they've touched on it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's related to the detonation of Jughead.
i had this strange ass dream last night where I was watching an episode of LOST and Jack was swimming underwater and was coming to surface of the island and you could see on the island was a reconstructed statue of Tawaret. (sp?) its going to be soo bittersweet seeing this series end. One one had its going to be great to get answers on the other hand I am not sure if I can find another show like LOST that will give me the same viewing experience that it did.
It's pretty good. There was a nice lesbian scene with Kate and Claire, and Hurley turned into the smoke monster. Very intense.
I am hoping that FRINGE and FAST FORWARD will be good stuff to the end. [and have an end instead of going on and on and on and on . . or just stopping] the having a good ending is why I like Babylon 5 [just started rewatching it form the beginning] Rocket River
*mind blown* I've been watching Prison Beak over netflix. S4 has both Jacob and the original MiB. Prison Break minor spoiler: Spoiler Jacob is a fence and contacts MiB to purchase the MacGuffin, but Jacob is killed before the MiB shows up.
