Damnit! I hate having to wait another week to see what's going to happen. Watching seasons 1-5 in a row online spoiled me.
Spectacular episode. Just one problem. The entire show, I wondered, annoyed, "How many minutes and seconds to V?!?"
you guys are posting from the future again! fitting on a Desmond centric episode. as mentioned earlier, "The Constant" is my all time favorite LOST episode and from tonight's posts so far, I don't expect to be disappointed...
I must have different interests in this show than most others. I thought this episode was very lame and boring. I guess I rather watch most of what is going on in the island. However this episode was all about Desmond chasing Penny in the alt world. It was good to see Charlie for a bit, but I don't really care that Farraday is Charles son and Delouise was Widmore's wife. I am interested in seeing how they plan on using Desmond on the island, if he has come up with some special power like Flocke, Jacob, and Richard.
I thought it did a great job of building up to what was going to happen, but it left open way to many possibilities for it to be one of the great episodes imo. The Constant was so great because not only was it a great story, but it also explained a lot of the questions we had. This felt like more of a lead in to what is eventually going to happen with the flash sideways group.
Well, I liked it not for the science fiction talk, but for the Penny Desmond connection. Smokey don't know nothing about love.
Great episode, not as good as The Constant but still great. Was like a LOST reunion, pulled a bunch of elements from the past seasons. Very cool.
At the beginning of this season, I had a feeling that the Desmond episode was going to be the best of the year. So far I'd say it was. Loved it. Agreed, maybe not quite as good as The Constant (also my favorite), but tonight's "underwater moment" (I'll leave it vague in case people haven't seen ep) was probably one of my Top 5 moments in entire series. I had goosebumps and rewound scene to watch it again, and I never do that.
