Maybe, but Spoiler Is Jack married in the alt time line? He has a kid, but the kid lives with his mother which implies that Jack is divorced. And there was no woman present at Jack's apartment so I don't think he's currently married.
Change 'is' to 'was' and it's not an unpopular thought. That David's mom was purposefully hidden from us implies that we will recognize her. Big! Reveal! A similar Big! Reveal! will be who Juliet tagged with her rifle during the time traveling outrigger chase.
i been watching this non-stop for the past three days...i havent showered or eatin much..ive lost track of time....this is the best show ever... ive just finished up season 2..i think i might re-watch da last couple of episodes season 2 before movin on to season 3.... . anways, my theory....they are stuck in purgatory.. the "others" are heavens gatekeepers or something
Its funny hearing someone's reactions after Season 2. You've only begun your journey down the rabbit hole. Ha!
Be forewarned that the first half of season 3 is borderline unbearable - the show's roughest stretch. Get through it, and then it opens up on the good stuff highway.
It's funny how different perceptions can be with this show - was talking about it with the three other people that I'm somewhat "watching" with, and we all agreed that season 3 was our favorite.
I loved the second half of S3, but the first half where 90% was just Jack, Kate, and Sawyer stuck in the Hydra zoo? Drove me mad. Holding pattern. This was also the Nikki and Paulo mini-era.
tomorrow is just going to be epic. Spoiler the name of the episode is Ab Aeterno, which translates to "since the beginning of time." we're going to see Jacob vs. the original nemesis played by the same guy at the end of Season 5. and we are getting exposition on Richard's story as well as Ilanna
I guess it just depends on your perspective. It didn't do a lot to advance the larger plot of the show, no, but LOST isn't all plot-driven for me. I have a lot invested in the characters, and the first part of S3 did more to reveal layers of Sawyer/Kate/Juliet than any stretch I can remember. Not to mention the utter hilarity of "Tricia Tanaka Is Dead", which is still my favorite "funny" episode of the show. I didn't like Nikki and Paulo, and I can understand the frustration in terms of the big picture... but from a character standpoint, I really liked season 3, and combined with the second half of S3 that you mentioned, I thought the cumulative result was very strong.
the end of Season 3, Through The Looking Glass, is regarded highly among LOST fans and critics alike. that makes me think, what are your favorite LOST episodes of all time? mine would have to be The Constant, Season 4.
Both of those that you mentioned are a couple of my favorites. Just about anytime Sawyer is a featured character in a episode I know I'm going to like it. "The Long Con" and "Confidence Man" are some that come to mind.

AWESOME episode. But seriously, wooden boat vs humongous statue. Who wins? Wooden boat? Also, if Christianity/Religion keeps playing this role, I'm going to be pretty disappointed. Not digging the whole purgatory/hell/vestibule idea. I feel like Jesus is going to show up next episode.
That was an incredibly disappointing revelation. I thought they would have a much more creative and mystery-solving reason for why the statue crumbled. But a wooden boat crashed into a massive stone statue and the entire thing comes crumbling down while the wooden boat gets tossed into the middle of an island and still manages to remain relatively intact?
