I only disliked Shannon because she turned Sayid into a major wuss, glad to see him back to his ruthless ways now.

Boone and Locke were awesome as a pair, I was sad when Boone died, not sad at all when Shannon died.

Honestly though, with only 10 episodes left before the finale, when are we going to see Desmond? I do believe he will be incredibly important, especially in the alternate timeline.

As for kate, I don't care if she is hot, she is just the most annoying character on LOST right now. Her episode has been the worse by FAR this season. We all know she is either going to whine to Sawyer or Jack pretty much every episode.

That forever altered how I'll hear that song, definitely dark, twisted, and creepy now. On a similar note, I think anyone that rewatches LOST from the beginning after this season won't be able to look at certain characters the same way. Knowing their fate makes it tough.

Agreed - TWIST!-hunters have been pushing a Jacob's the bad guy not Smokey theory, but I don't agree. It's very much a God/Devil sort of a thing. Why does God allow good people to suffer or die, and the Devil is a necessary evil. God drives a hard bargain, the Devil offers you the easy one.

They're in the Jungle building a Suspense together.

At the Lighthouse, waiting for the rest of their team to gather.

To draw a tie to Timeline A, to let everyone know that Sayid still wanted her.

Yes, yes. See you in this life....or the next.

Yes - the producers always knew how things would end, they just put the show in a frustrating holding pattern during S2-S3.

In a minor sense - Jack and his two Island wounds, and everyone's vague sense of deja vu. Desmond's appearance on the plane as well.

Charlie became incredibly annoying until they finally killed him. The heroin yo-yo, the insecurity issues, hitting Sun, getting pissy and jealous over Locke, getting pissy and whiny with Eko, etc. His character was suffering.

Hmm. I'm not sure if he did. I *think* Desmond told Hurley & Co, and it was Hurley who told Claire. I don't believe Desmond and Claire crossed paths that entire season. I know Sun found Charlie's ring that he had left in Aaron's crib for Claire.

I never enjoyed Shannon, irritating personality, crummy acting, and didn't find her hot.

    ditto.

Agreed. AND - is he coming alone, or is he bringing folks with him? He could have a full boat (Penny, baby Charlie, Widmore, Hawking, Walt, etc).

Kate's character has spiraled downhill in dramatic fashion. She was GOD.AWFUL. last season and even I was ready to toss her into a piranha tank. She just became a massive wet blanket. This whole "reuniting Claire and Aaron" obsession is nearly as bad a character jerk as last season's "Aaron is MY son" wackiness.

Just watched it, Sayid was my favorite character and I got pretty bummed when he killed Dogen and pretty much solidified himself as a bad guy. I didn't even really understand Dogen's part in all this, and now he's dead it will either remain a mystery or they dedicate one of the precious few episodes to him. I laughed when Miles said Claire was still hot, agreed.

Is it just arbitrary that Claire and Sayid and Rousseau(?) had turned dark? What was the point of seeing Jin in Keamey's freezer (just to prove sun's dad is connected to bad people)?

Anyways this is all better than an episode about Sun, which the title presumably alluded to.

Yes, Sundown didn't end up being about Sun, but the title of the next episode leaves little doubt as to who it's about.

are they really dead? because sayid seemed to intentionally kill/leave them in the pool.

Season has been a disappointment so far since there has been no Mr. Eko sightings.

But the pool wasn't working. It didn't save Sayid, "something else" did. Miles even told Sayid that during the episode. I don't see how Sayid could have assumed that if they killed them in the pool, they'd be OK. Even if Ghost Jacob was messing with the pool while talking to Hurley as someone mentioned earlier, Sayid wouldn't have known anything about that. So as far as Sayid is concerned, the pool doesn't do squat.

    Re: The ABC episode previews

They were pretty bluntly clear in the "On the next episode of Lost" trailer at the end of the episode that Ben will die.

    <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/T6BRUUn9WC0&hl=en_US&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/T6BRUUn9WC0&hl=en_US&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>

And this preview hints pretty clearly how sad and unhappy alternate reality Ben will be:

    <object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rDhPC8dSzc8&hl=en_US&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rDhPC8dSzc8&hl=en_US&fs=1&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>

So I'm thinking its going to be a pretty unhappy episode for Ben on all fronts.

I liked Ben's facial expression when he sees Sayid and slowly backs away.

I feel like that would make a good animated gif for when someone is posting crazy stuff.

Everybody is talking about Desmond and how great it will be to have an episode on him.
Sure, it will be some good stuff, but I think the most interesting episode will involve this guy:

In part. Honestly, it's more because we've got only some many episodes to play with and are going to probably crossover all of the folks in Timeline X with each other.

Jin was stopped by customs over his duffel bag of cash - it would seem as if Paik was sending that money to Keamy (Keamy's boss, more likely) and Jin got in deep when he showed up empty handed.

fredv - I doubt we'll see any more than a cameo out of Faraday at this point. His story ran a full course. The show is rapidly approaching the wrap up point. Focus will be on the main characters, with some side attention given to folks like Ilana and Richard.

Ugh. Guy is such an over-actor it's annoying. If he were my son I'd blast him too.

I thought it was a pretty good ep. Looking forward to the two sides fully forming and where Sawyer is. Sucks Sayid is evil, wasn't really expecting the killing of Dogan.

Here's one I'm not sure about, did Miles ever meet Claire before the last episode? I thought she was gone all last season? Miles and Co showed up at the end of the season two seasons ago right?

Even if he never met Claire, I am sure he knows about her. Didn't Miles spend 3 years in DHARMA-ville? I'm sure word would get around, if not, I'm sure Hurley told him about her.

No he met her when Naomi and the freighter crew made it onto the island. It was only for a short while but I definitely remember him walking with Claire and Sun.

Miles was with Sawyer and Claire walking back to the beach from Dharmaville when Claire left Aaron and disappeared. Sawyer was distrustful of Miles and was being very protective of Claire.

Man, Dogen was such a badass I didn't want him to die. At least Jin is still alive. (Yes, I am Asian).

Dogen was a total badass, I agree.

There needs to be more Jin/Sun episodes. I mean, they have been separated for over 3 years but it seems to me like no one even talks about it except for the 30 seconds every other episode where either Jin or Sun is talking about finding each other. This is happening while we get an entire episode dedicated to Kate...doing what exactly?

Widmore has to be associated with the MIB somehow. My theory is that the reason the freighter crew wanted Linus was because he could kill Jacob. I suppose that had they had captured Ben, they would have taken him to the giant statue where they would have forced Ben to stab Jacob. This would explain when Miles was captured by Jacob's crew off the island and they mentioned that he was playing for the wrong team.
