Good episode, looks like FINALLY things are about to pick up for real. Pretty much everyone is together. Only 10 episodes left before the finale! I am going to be sad when this ends.
My Season 6 episode rankings so far: 1) The Substitute 2) Lighthouse 3) LAX pt. 2 4) Sundown 5) LAX pt. 1 6) What Kate Does Sayid kicked ass tonight, and Flocke continues to own Season 6. I just really don't like how Ben is completely irrelevant. Oh, and ME WANT DESMOND!
This was probably my favorite episode of the season. But I don't really like the way the final season is heading out with Sayid and Claire maybe Sawyer teaming up while probably becoming enemies with Jack and Hurley. While Kate, Sun, Jin, and that other Asian guy being up for the air. Why are they of all seasons fighting a battle between two people we have not met till this season. Guess relatively speaking we have seen Smokey since the first season, and heard about Jacob since around the 2nd season.
or non-locke could be underestimating kate and it may catch up with it. kate seems like one of the good ones. i'd be surprised if she ends up on non-locke's crew. she seems to be trying to figure out what is going on at this point judging by her facial expressions there. wonder where sawyer disappeared to?
Amen to that! I love kick arse Sayid. Spoiler Though him with the kids was really sweet and I soooo wanted his brother to die.
Kate to Claire: I've been raising Aaron and he is a beautiful boy. I am also wearing one of his shirts.
We had an Omer and an Omar (from the freighter crew) last name, and have had a third one in the series. The Omer/Omar name - the biblical grandson of Esau (Jacob). With no Island and no Hatch, this *could* be the cause of Sayid's timeline X - if Hatch Kelvin did not recruit him in Iraq to torture Tariq and put him onto the US Rolodex....Sayid's only issue would be the Basara incident (suppressing a revolt). He could have defected to Iran for shame of what he did for his country, and become the Oil Contract Translator we saw last night. He was on Flight 815 because the US pulled him in to Australia to betray his old friend (Timeline A). Trick is, Kelvin should have been in Iraq BEFORE going to the Island. Not sure how to reconcile that. I do like how SO MANY things from seasons 1-5 are <cough> boomeranging into S6. Nadia's photograph that Sayid had on the Island was signed "see you in this life or the next". The Hatch (Kelvin desperately wanting out from his eternal job that he tricks Desmond and sought to leave the Island with Desmond inheriting the duty). "The only thing I ever wanted died in my arms" - this could *possibly* prelude Shannon's inevitable re-appearance, though Nadia is the obvious choice. Did Sayid fail to kill Smokey because he gave him a chance to speak, or because Sayid has been claimed is no longer a candidate? If the latter, was Ben still a candidate up until he stabbed Jacob? I thought he was scratched for turning the donkey wheel. 12 hours left (technically 8 and a half). Gah.
I bet Sayid is trying to punk Flock. Why why he throw the Japanese guy and the hippie guy into the water? I bet after Smokey is done with the temple and moved on Japanese guy and hippy guy come back to life. He could have thrown hippy guy on the edge but he put him in the water. Also Jacob messed with the pool on an ealier episide. Maybe he made the pool healing again? Just my thoughts.
I thought about that too however I kinda doubt that Sayid is just playing NotLocke. Sawyer on the other hand is for sure conning notlocke. Kate definitely won't be with him either. I kind of hoped that Kate died last night too but oh well.
I was really disappointed when Smokey didn't kill Kate once and for all. So many missed opportunities to kill off Kate this season...
they havent really killed any main characters since the first season. the ones they have they have come back anyways.
