holy moses. 2010. i think this time next year when it is the very last episode im might be pretty sad its gone. (only show i have ever really watched since seinfeld)
Totally and utterly FLOORED... and I don't just say that about anything. That was about as good as it gets, start to finish... hell, it could have been a standalone movie.
Amazing show! I too am going to be sad when it ends, since I don't watch anything else on tv. Going to be like when I watched The last Lord of The Rings
Great episode. My Thoughts: For those too stupid to read this prior to watching: Spoiler I'm guessing "Locke" was the character talking to Jacob in the beginning. That said, I don't think it was a shape-shifting thing like x-men. I think Locke was there also. I may be wrong. Rose and what's his name wrapped up. Only took 5 minutes. Good riddance. The filler episodes meant nothing to the show. And that dude needs to lay off the cheeseburgers. How do you get that fat in a year? I've had some friends say that they think that the hydrogen bomb didn't really go off. If that happens, I'll be pissed. They're thinking it was a "White fade out" or a Juliet dying thing. Not me. I think the sucker went off. That said, it will be fun too see in a year if we are still mind-blown or if this was a wasted 5 years, although most drama shows just get tired writers coming up with stupid new crap. At least we will get a definitive ending. I hope the writers have spent the past three years writing a new story. I'd like to see what they come up with next.
Oh. My. God. The curious side of me wants this to just end and answer everything, but there's a part of me that wishes this would never finish. The ride has been nothing short of amazing.
Honestly, this show has lost viewership this year. Can you imagine this show ending without an ending? You can always rewatch it. But more shows need to be written like this and less like Prison Break and Dallas.
maybe rose and bernard are adam and eve and they are just playing with everyone. DID YOU EVER THINK OF THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????
i was thinking the same thing. there have been several bible refrences tonight when ben refers to "locke" as Moses....idk maybe
Oh I know... I'm with you. I wish this breeds future writing on this level. I'm pretty sure the ending will be disappointing. I think it's more about the experience and the journey, rather than the end. To watch it again would not be the same. There are shows which are more appropriate and don't lose much when you get the DVDs for the previous seasons and watch them in a few days, but watching Lost week after week and waiting for each subsequent episode or season is how it is supposed to be seen.
it was probably too in your face to mean anything, but the close up of his face in the fire makes me think the 'alive locke' could be the devil.
I disagree. I'm hoping it will be like a really long "Lonesome Dove." And for those who like LOST, you might want to give that mini-series a shot.
