So wait, what exactly happened to Claire. I thought she died.....but after last night, I suddenly realized I have forgotten her fate. Kidnapped? If so, that means she jumped through time like the rest of the survivors right? So she living with the others right now?
After the mercenaries attacked the barracks, the Losties made their way back to the beach. It was night so they camped out. Claire awoke and saw Christian holding Aaron and she followed him into the Jungle. When the rest of the Losties awoke, Claire was gone and Aaron was found nearby. Later, Locke saw Claire hanging out with Christian in Jacob's cabin. Aside from the dream Kate had off the island where Claire warned her not to bring Aaron back, the cabin scene was the last time we saw her. So in Lost time, nobody's seen her for 3 years.
Quick aside: We are going to dress up as Losties on Saturday for an event. Can anyone tell me what Danielle is wearing over her shoulder? (or what might work as a cheap substitute?) Anything else that would make it look like an "authentic" costume? I'm going to go as Jack, and wear a dishevelled suit.
Widmore: In Locke's flashback episode, Widmore explicitly stated that he was incharge of the Others until Benry came along and tricked him into popping off the island. I expect that we'll see a culmination of events in the next few episodes that results in Widmore turning the Donkey Wheel, popping himself off the island and the time-displaced Losties into 2007. What remains to be seen is how newly-evil Teen Benry finds out about the FDW and tricks Widmore into turning it. I'd guess that the Losties' cover will be blown as part of the deal. Claire: Team Keamy blows up her house with her in. But she's okay! (or is she) She has a concussion, gets a bandage on her head, and (deleted scene) sees Christian in Benry's bedroom while Hurley's tending to her. As she, Sawyer and Miles walk from the barracks, she mentions her headache and how she's happy not to be seeing things (I see dead people) anymore. Miles the Ghost Whisperer has his antenna buzzing the entire time over her. They go to sleep, she "wakes up" to leave with Christian. How I see it - the time between the explosion and going to sleep was a "transition" for Claire. I believe she died and passed over - but maybe like Christian and Locke "dying" was a temporary thing. I think Christian, Locke, Claire, and Richard are all corporal spirits of sorts (Jesus post-cross or solid versions of Obi Wan Kenobi).
ugh, why do people keep calling Ben linus "Benry"? It annoys me, makes me think there is some other character I don't know about. It's Ben Linus, it was always Ben, and has been Ben for 3+ seasons.

Wait... Is Christian alive like Locke is alive? Locke was dead until he went back to the Island a second time. Could the same thing be happening here?
I doubt it. Ben is one to use that knowledge to his advantage. It will be his 'BIG CHIP' in the game and he will start manipulating the Losties to get what he wants. Case and Point - It will be why Horace never finds out Ben let Sayid lose. Ben will make sure that Sawyer and the losties say nothing on that account. When Ben was captured by Rousseau and held prisoner by the Losties, he claimed his name was Henry Gale and that he came to the island in a hot air balloon. Ben's cover was blown when Sayid found the balloon and the drivers license of the real Henry Gale. Benry has been a nickname ever since.
I would understand it if his name was long, but it annoys me more that it takes less time to type 'Ben' than it is to type two extra letters. It doesn't make any sense, nicknames are supposed to be shorter.
Now that you mention this . . . .In the 17 plus years on the island. . . Rousseau never knew Ben's real name???? my memory is not that great .. . if she knew. . why didn't she tell the losties Rocket River
She told Sayid and co that she survived all those years because she'd steered well clear of the Others. She had no idea who Ben really was, only that he was an Other.
