Enjoyed the episode tonight, looks like an interesting dual plotline going forward between Team Dharma and Team 316. I got jazzed when we saw the back of the statue. Almost certainly Egyptian (could be why Hurley was drawing the Sphinx.....4 toes). I'm thinking the statue might be (other clue dangling for us)...Horus. Evan
That's an HD picture of the statue. I've seen some speculations that say that the statue is honoring Horus, the Sky God. The statue of him is seen holding two ankhs, and Paul was wearing a necklace with a wooden ankh attached to it. Does this mean the Dharma Initiative built the statue?
last night's show was great. i found it really interesting how "happy" sawyer was in his new role and new life with Dharma. He was the polar opposite of what he has been throughout the show - helpful, caring, outgoing, honest, selfless,etc... you knew they were just about to turn his world upside down once kate comes back. it is almost like jack is the catalyst that makes sawyer go evil. both juliette and kate have a thing for jack, but in reality they really like sawyer. f'in great show. why is there not a show next wed? that BS.. i wish they would bust out a 2 hour episode... every other show does it but Lost!
i may be wrong but i interpreted that look between sawyer and kate on the re-uniting...to mean the sparks had passed. sawyer started to smile and kate started to smile a little. but, then kate's smile turned into a straight face and so did sawyer's. i took that to mean they both moved on and, while sawyer's passion was kind of re-kindled at seeing her initially, reality quickly set in that he is with juliette now. i took the kate facial expressions to mean she moved on with jack. so, i'm thinking that is how the new order is...kate and jack...sawyer and juliette. it's been 3 years. or, they can just trade off partners whenever. lol
I think Sawyer's smile was him thinking now that Kate is back I wonder if we can get our three way on with Juliette. Then he realized he was fooling himself and the smile went away. LOL. Great episode last night by the way.
That is funny and exactly something that Sawyer would probably have running thru his mind. Sawyer is such an amazing part of this brilliant cast. They all add so much depth to their respective characters. Excellent show... I am sad that we only have one more season...
since the time jumps have stopped is there going to be anymore info you think on the statue and other ruins? that statue intrigues me greatly sucks we only saw the back of it. at least we will learn what happened to sun and sayid next week. crap also horace was in a previous episode when he spoke we locke about what he needed to do. i remember horace saying he was dead for 12 years or so when he spoke to locke. i wonder if amy's baby is john locke
They have already shown eloise. She was with Richard in that camp when Locke went to go talk to richard.
Another great episode, I enjoy the episodes of Sawyer the most, I think second would be John Locke. Overall, the story of the people that stayed intrigues me more than the story of the people that left. Maybe it's just because of the characters though.
we already know locke's parents. his mother is emily locke and his father is anthony cooper. so of course locke's not amy's son. the baby boy is ethan, that's pretty obvious. he's born 1974 so he'll be around 30 when 815 crashes on the island.
Do we know where/when Jack was born? Perhaps Jack is actually adopted. We know his father (Christian) has some weird connection with the island. We know he fell far away from the rest of the survivors in the Oceanic crash, meaning he may have been on the island before.
