Think they only had 8 episodes in the can before the strike, since the strike is still going I doubt they'd be able to make any new episode in time for this season. We'll probably be waiting till next fall for episodes past these 8
In honor of the upcoming season premiere throw out your favorite top 3 Lost characters and why. 1. Desond: he is unique because he wasn't on flight 815. The whole see the future power is pretty sweet. I liked his internal struggle with trying to get off the island vs. saving Charlie 2. Kate: how could you not like Kate? I like her fugitive back story when on the outside she appears so innocent. Oh and she is not bad looking either! 3. Sawyer: his one liners crack me up. The tough guy who doesn't want to show he has a heart. ahhhh Please share your top 3
I've heard these things were bad, that you can tell the cast, at least the more famous members, aren't really giving it their all.
Per my original post in this thread and "24", I guess they did pull "24" completely as they didn't want to air 8 of the 24 hours only. Good for them. No "24" at all this TV season.

I'll give you my favorite 5 Favorites 1. Desmond: he is unintentionally funny to me, and since he's only been in 1 and half seasons, he has yet to do anything moronic to piss me off 2. Sayid: his instincts are always right and is probably the best leader for the losties because of his military experience and communications training. 3. Hugo: his backstory is very interesting and relevant to the island, and he provides comedic relief like sawyer without being a selfish *******. He also went up in my book after rescuing the other losties in the season finale 4. Jin: would be higher if he could speak english. He is the 2nd biggest badass on the island behind sayid, and plus half the losties would have starved if not for his fisherman skills. 5. Sun: Easy on the eyes and how else would jin know what the hell is going on. The only character other than desmond that has not done anything stupid.
I have been looking for a good place to introduce myself and post my first post here. I have been a huge Lost fan for a while now and I think with the writer's strike limiting other new offerings on TV, Lost is going to be HOT, HOT, HOT. If you haven't already found her, the Chronicle has a fantastic Lost blogger. Her posts can be found at http://blogs.chron.com/tubular/. She adds tons of depth to each episode and notices details I would never notice. Anyway, as far as introductions go. I am GlassHalfFull, because I try as hard as possible to be positive about the teams I root for. I figure that by giving myself this name, it reminds me to stay positive. And other posters are always quick to catch me if I slip up. I post over at TexansTalk.com with the same name and really enjoyed the interaction during football season. So I am looking forward to posting here and talking Rockets.
What the heck, i'll just list everyone in order. Like them, but are flawed characters 6. Jack: He was a good leader in season 1, but was played for a fool one too many times later. 7. Sawyer: The second best acting performance on the show, a great character, but he has not changed imo since the first episode, still a selfish greedy b*stard. 8. Locke: he was one of my favorites when he was hunting boar, not having hallunications and losing him damn mind with the hatch and sabtoging the losties chance to leave by blowing up the submarine. 9. Kate: Liked her until i found out she murdered her father or stepfather. Also she is like sort of a weak link, getting in trouble way too often. 10. Ben: The best acting performance on the show, but the man is an "other". The would care if they were written off the show characters 11. Juliet: I hate the arrogant condescending look on her face at all times, and I still don't trust her. 12. Michael: killed 2 innocent people, including the 2nd hottest lostie, anna lucia, and tried to sacrifice 4 more. Unless he appears out of nowhere to save the day, I don't want to see him again. 13. Claire: responsible for the most annoying episode in the series when she yelled at danielle, what did you do to my baby. 14. Charlie: even though he is supposedly dead, words cannot describe how much i hated him. His death made the season 3 finale a great episode instead of just a good one.
ricky812: good list of characters. I also loved Mr. Eko and was sad when he left. Same goes for Ana Lucia. I agree with you on Sayid being a stud. The way he took out that other with his legs while being handcuffed was sweet
Man....I dunno if I can take this. This marks the first time I've watched the show as it is aired on TV. I've watched each season as its come out on DVD....no commercials, and I can watch four friggin' hours of it at a time if I so choose. All these damn commercials and waiting A WHOLE DAMN WEEK between each episode is going to drive me up the wall.
Good episode. Glad they did the two hours last night and tonight recapping events...I had forgotten a lot since last season. Man, I love the new direction this is taking. I was wondering what they were going to do after The Others
