Hurley showed up for her birth, not Jin's funeral. Hurley was also glad no one else was coming - I thought that was odd.
Think about it. Jacks a drug addict who wants to go back Kate probably effed over Sawyer somehow. Sayid's an assassin for Ben. ...and I agree with the author that the 6th member is prob Aaron. Would you want them around? I dont think Jin is dead. The date on the tombstone is the kicker.
Jin was muscle for Sun's dad before the plane crashed. Another possibility is that he's working with Ben and Sayid, and that they didn't want anyone to know that he was still alive.
This takes place (~ summer 2005) well before Jack goes bearded and crazy (April 2007), but he may be dodging everyone to begin his road down denial. Kate's under arrest and heading toward her trial. Sayid may indeed have gone underground immediately. This is also before Hurley sees Charlie and commits himself. Evan
True, and I may be confused, but do we know when the fuselage was found? I guess it wasn't after Locke and Ben were there. Your probably right.
Here's the sequence of events. Fake crash site found complete with bodies. This is reported on TV. We see both Faraday and Lapidus watching these reports. Widmore acquires the black box. Abaddon hires Naomi, Faraday, Lapidus, Miles, and Charlotte. The freighter heads towards the island. Naomi parachutes onto the island. Ben shoots Locke and puts him with the bodies from the purge. Ben lives and kills Naomi. So yeah, the bodies from the purge were still there well after the outside world found the bodies in the crash site. And like I said before, the purge bodies should be at least 20 years old and it's unlikely they could pass of such decomposed remains as corpses that were only a maybe two months old. If Ben is in fact the one who pulled off the fake crash site, he got the bodies from somewhere else. Perhaps a parallel universe or alternative reality?
Possibly he cloned them? Who knows what kind of craziness they have on the island esp since Richard Alpert hasnt seemed to age a day since Ben met him and he could possibly be from the BLACKROCK slave ship based on his clothing....
What ever happened to him and the rest of the others? Were they all killed as part of the assault on the beach? Are they living elsewhere?
Yeah, Ben left them to intercept Jack and Co. at the radio tower. They're still out there. I'm sure they will eventually come back into play.
Yea, it seems like the OTHERS are really the HOSTILES with a mix of some of DHARMA people... It looks like there is 3 groups in play here...Losties, Hostiles, and Dharma trying to reclaim the island (so it appears)
i thought this too If you wanted Muscle . . . Sayid, Jin and Ecko would be the ones to choose I missed all the date references so when at the end he gave the bear to the guy . . . I was waiting on the hospital room to Explode or something thinking he was on a killing spree for Ben . . .. Rocket River
I initially thought they were darts because there was no gunfire sound. But they could have used a silencer and it's would be hard for Carl and Rosseau to be killed instantly by darts.
Wow...I guess Sayid didn't like the truth he was hearing from Michael...so he rats him out to the evil captain. And, here I thought Sayid was about to give Michael a hug. Silly me.
We learned something really important this episode. The Island apparently has power enough to greatly influence events outside of it. To somehow not allow Michael to die is really interesting. I guess it is possible that the island is also responsible for showing Hurley visions of Charlie and making Jack's life **** so that he wants to go back to the island, but that could also all be in the character's heads. This was definitely not in Michael's head. So what the hell is the island if it has that kind of influence?
Was it just me or were you all disappointed in who got whacked today? As soon as Alex's boyfriend started with the jibber jabber I knew he was a goner. Russo death surprised me.
are we certain they're dead? it seems kind of random that they would kill off russo. i looked closer and they aren't darts as i had originally thought. though i'm no closer of knowing who was shooting.
