HOLY ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was ****ing insane! WOW! I hate having to wait till 3 montsh from now. WOW!!!!!
1. Nice that the Army Commander that taught Sayid to torture was Desmond's predecesor in the hatch. Also nice Libby backstory...now we know why she was in the hospital. 2. Good explanation for plane crash 3. Looks like Penelope's Dad may be funding the Project 4. Doubtful the guys in the hatch are all dead....there would be no need to show Penelope if Desmond wasn't going to be around. 5. I love the Hanso commercials (thanks Monster.com)
I just hope Eko is alive. Incredible. ****Spoiler*** So is Desmond's girl going to save them all? It seems like the island isn't exactly on the map. I also like the whole reverse Penelope going down to the underworld to save the one she loves twist on Greek mythology... Wait scratch that wrong name, penelope was odysseus' husband..that makes a lot more sense with her and desmond...
i guess i'm the only one who thinks this show is trash. glad i didnt follow the whole season. this looks like another x-files series.
I's sure there are others who don't like it. Edit: How many times did they not push the button? I only remember once for sure but I think it happened twice and then there was Henry saying he didn't push it. So if he was telling the truth then that's a possible third time.
It wasn't pressed when Desmond missed it. Locke just about missed it, but got it at the very last second right when the sound was revving up, when Jack held him against the wall when Sayid was torturing Henry. Henry said he didn't press it, but we know for a fact that nothing happened like what happened today when they didn't press and when Desmond didn't press. Henry was lying.
Did anyone just now see a blinding white flash in the sky? That was my head exploding into a cloud of electromagnetic energy after watching the season finale. So, we got some answers... but we got even more questions. Wonderful. The Monster.com Hanso commercial was awesome.
They just had some guy on Kimmel named McIntyre who is the head at the Hanso Foundation. It was obviously fake, but he was talking about how the writers of lost are using the organization in their myths. About the web hacker Persephone rigging the Hanso website and such. I love how the producers of Lost are using things like the gimmick above and the commercials to create this whole Lost culture.
So if the "Good Guys" are to be believed then there is a way out of the island. They know the way out and yet they choose to stay under Henry's lead. It was interseting they the Others didn't show much emotion when they hatch blew. I thought that was the moment Sayid was gonna come out and kick some tail. Why was Jack such an idiot when he was being led by Michael? He's always on top of things but he didn't realize they were that far inland until it was too late???
I'm rewatching the epi. I'll have an answer in a bit. Just a random thing, but when I first watched the epi, Hurley asked if the bird said his name. This is confirmation that the bird did indeed say his name. The bird also looked very fake, I think maybe this was a creation of Walt to warn Hurley.
An interesting thing about the others not being shaken up. Remember, it was Henry who told Locke that nothing happens when the button isn't pressed. They wanted this to happen. Jack has always been an idiot.
I think Jack has a plan to get out and it included them getting captured with Sayid following. Maybe. I don't know.
He's the first guy we see as the boat pulls up to the dock. We see him in the window and he has his back turned to us with his arm up against the windowsill. You don't see him again until he gets off and then he is looking down or looking away. It just seems like they went to a little extra trouble to show him but not show him if that makes any sense. I thought it was Walt when they first pulled up. I guess I could be reading way too much into it. Henry did say that they had received more from Walt than they ever thought or something like that.
That would explain the look he gave to Kate because I don't buy it being an "We are about to die and I really, really do like you" kind of look.
