Yeah. It was in a Sawyer flashback. Jack's dad spills his guts about how he's proud of his son and that he loves him but he just can't bring himself to say it. Sawyer eventually relays this story to jack on the island.
Yeah, I recall an episode where Jack said something that reminded Sawyer of the old man he met (jacks dad) and suddenly caused him to realize that was jacks father. I can't remember which one, but Sawyer knows that was Jacks father.

I just hope the show doesn't stall tonight. It has a tendency of having a good week followed by a dud. They need to keep the action going.
