I think she is dead, since the actress was signed on to a new tv show. She has a new contract with ABC but for a completely different tv show. I think she's gone from LOST.
well, she may be finished off before the season is over. there is no way they would have her hold the blankets like that if she was killed. she will inform somebody that michael was the shooter before she dies, if she dies. also there is still the unresolved plot of hurley figuring out that he knows her from the insane asylum.
I'm thinking it's 'cuz Michael is probably gonna lead them all into an ambush unless his conscience forces him to speak up (or Libby exposes hiim).
also, how do none of them question the state he was in when he was found? he obviously got roughed up by something.
That was my problem as well. No one ever asked him why he collapsed and passed out. Seems like one of the more obvious questions. That was a great episode though. I almost check the thread before I watched it, man I'm glad I didn't.
That goes without saying, that actually kind of tipped me off that Michael may have not been on the level right from the start. First off, we've seen that the Others were not some savages but just some people in some pretty hi tech looking facilities done up in make up, so when he started talking about thier camp, it just didn't jive. Then the talk Henry Gale has with Locke, telling him that he was sent there to get him, meaning that the others are intrested in getting people on their side. Once Anna Lucia gave him the gun I told my wife, he's going to shoot her. Next week should be intresting
When he said "I'm sorry," I almost started jumping up and down. I can't stand Michelle Rodriguez. One other thing I don't get is Libby hearing a gunshot, and then running towards it. If I hear a gunshot, I'm running away. At the very least hiding. Not running into the room. Guess that's just me though. Guess we can't trust what Abrams tells the media, i.e. "at this point we have no plans to kill off any other major characters." (Stated after Shannon was killed.) Speaking of Shannon, the "have premarital sex and then die if you're a woman" theme is still going strong.
I had read on a spoiler page that one or two more would die this season. I had a feeling Ana Lucia would be one of them, but I didn't think it would play out this way. It should be a good ride to the end of the season.
If anyone paid attention to the previews for next week, someone said "She's dead." Not They're..... Which leads me to believe that Libby is still alive.
a few more things from last night... -Sawyer will mos def give up the guns now that his one night stand is dead. -Why do they want John? Alive? -Jack's never gonna know that Ana Lucia played a significant role in the last days of his fathers life? The actor that plays the leader of the others was on Desperate Housewives Sunday night.
Not sure if this was said but is it possible that Michael is now an "other"? I've heard some say he was brainwashed or working for the others but it seems like he may have become an "other" altogether. And, what was the deal with how he was chatting his teeth before he shot himself? That was creepy. He looked like he was on ecstasy. lol I think he has been converted to an "other" but we really don't know what it means exactly to be an "other" at this point. I think he was sent back by the "others" to lead the "norms" into an ambush or worse. It's interesting how this prevailing theme of the "others" looking to get the good people while the bad people are passed up and/or fair game to be killed. Henry basically stated that when he spoke to Ana Lucia and Locke. It's truly a weird show.
The trailers are known for being misleading. We have no idea in what context that was said, it could have been a response to Hurley asking what happened to Libby. ***********Spoiler*********** Libby will be back in flashbacks in the finale. It is a Desmond centric episode and we will learn quite a bit more about Libby's past.
Libby is definitely hiding her stint in the mental hospital. Did anyone see her face when Hurley was reacting to the comment she made about getting some wine for the picnic? Hurley said something like after drinking some he may remember where he knows her from. Her facial expression right after that said it all. She definitely knows Hurley from there and is trying to hide it from him. The bigger question is...why?
If they keep killing off all the hot chicks they are gonna have to change the name to Brokeback Island.
I just watched the ep again online because I missed the first half. It was my first time seeing the ending credits and hearing the ending credits music. I guess if I had the DVDs, I would have seen it before.
I wonder if it's Claire. Might be a kid from the tail section. I don't think Michael is an Other or brainwashed. I think he cut a deal to get Walt. I also think he's dead the second they're reunited in the finale. Evan
I think Ana Lucia's story hints that it's a kid from the tail section. Last night she was concerned with "Cindy" over everyone else that the others had taken. I think "Cindy" is Jack's sister.
