I think they are up to their old 2 weeks of reruns trick next week. On ABC's website it says: http://abc.go.com/primetime/lost/ Next Episode: Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 9/8c "Numbers" When Hurley becomes obsessed with the French woman and heads into the jungle to find her, Jack, Sayid and Charlie have no choice but to follow. Meanwhile, Locke asks Claire to help build a mysterious item. It's one of my favorite episodes, but it's not new.
Next new episode is in two weeks. It's February sweeps, so something better start happening. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm really close to quitting on this show altogether. I'm basically watching it out of habit at this point(that and because Veronica Mars isn't available to me in HD). What's pathetic is that more happened in the first 4 episodes of 24 this season than the entire year to date on Lost.
This episode was useless. Charlie's flashback episode last year sucked as well. Does anyone really care about that clown? I'm glad Locke gave him the beatdown.
Well damn.. It's new to me though.. I've just started watching the DVDs a few weeks ago along with watching the new ones on ABC so there are huge holes I still have to fill.. Thanks for clarifying that..
In this last episode, I kept thinking the "others" were going to take the baby unless it was baptized and Charlie was actually having dreams which foreshadowed this but everyone just thought he was on heroin and hallucinating. And, since the mom and baby were then baptized, the baby was saved from the "others". I dunno if that is right. I do agree that the episode sucked, though.
I didn't think the episode was THAT bad. It's interesting that "Numbers" will be next. There are some fun rumours out there about how Hurley knows Libby. Thanks Count, there is only one off week. The next new episode was actually supposed to be the second episode of the season, but was moved back. It may show the tie between Sawyer and Kate in a new light.
I was going over some of the characters on Wiki and some things I hadn't payed attention to about Libby are that she's a clinical psychologist. I wonder when her expertise will come into play on the island as I imagine people are going to start succuming to the stress of their situation. Also, she may have worked at the assylum/hospital that Hurley was at and that might be why he asked if he "knew her from somewhere."
If that's true, then it must be another episode that doesn't do much to advance the storyline. It's just building on the character development a little more. I personally hate how they throw in episodes to just fill in time but not advance the story much...if any. Are they going to stretch this out forever until the actors' raises are too high and they have to cancel due to budget costs? Then, they will resolve it all in a 2 hour finale. Oh joy.
Where the hell is Desmond? Shouldnt he know by now that the world didnt blow up?? This show makes me frustrated sometimes....
Yeah, that was the best part of an otherwise weak episode. Did anyone else notice how nice Anna Maira can look when she smiled at Jack? (the part where she was asking Jack if he was getting some of that (where "that" is referencing Kate)) So much better than the constant scowl she's become known for.
It's a Sawyer backstory episode, the grumbling about it being moved back is that it "gave too much away". I agree that the story is getting thin but, it's about the characters not the situation. I think it's funny that on the bonus stuff on the first season DVD they cut a great Poker analogy that Locke gave Walt for the same reason as this Sawyer episode - gave too much away. They also said that in their original version, the pilot episode had them living in huts by the end of just that episode. I doubt we will see that until the end of Season 2 at the pace they are going. They are just building them now. Spoiler Maybe The thing about Libby is - what if she was a patient?
Episode was like, eh, glad Locke finally knocked Charile out, thought Echo should have done it last week.
There are no coincidences on the island. (I'd love to see the big grease board where they keep track of the plot lines)
It was the worst Lost ever, I think they are testing the real fans Just kill off the Halfling already, please.
