    Hey...

I lost a key to my 1999 Honda Prelude. I went to the dealership and they gave me a new key for 20 bucks. The key is fine, but the chip needs to be reprogrammed or something in order for the car to work.... They told me to order a new alarm remote/programmed key. The whole fix is going to cost me 500 dollars including labor... Is there a cheaper way to get this done?

    Did you call any locksmiths??

Try steering column repair companies also.

So you only had one car key? Maybe try to get your steerling column unlocked by disabling your alarm.
