    As long as you drink them 30 to an hour after your workout you're good.

    Try Taco Bell. They're supreme chalupas are nothing short of epic win.

    Isn't this a natural reaction after working out? Like an effect of the higher adrenaline levels of working out? Especially if you're keeping yourself hydrated the whole time.

    K well this puts me a little more at ease. I drink ass loads of water during a workout.

    thanks for the help. protein shakes starting tomorrow.

    I just drink water or tea afterwards. A few hours later I get hungry and then I eat a lot =P

    a side note on the protein shakes...

    i like to mix in ovaltine with my chocolate whey protein and mix it with hot water so it's like hot chocolate. need about 1 to 1.5 parts water per whey ovaltine mix. i also do about 2 parts whey and 1 part ovaltine.

    I use to be the same way but now I'm usually starving after a good workout. A protein shake after a workout really helps with muscle growth and recovery. I usually drink one and then eat a meal a little after that.
