I'm really sorry, terrible sorry. No words I can say or anyone can give that will help or slightly make you feel better as they wouldn't to me if I was stuck in that situation. Let time pass, let time pass, surely there is a reason for everything.

It's really moving. thanks so much to all. this is far worse than we thought. I can see the effects of these "lesions" already. My sister was extremely loopy today. I'm hoping it was just the dope she was on.....but she is definitely not herself. She didn't take the prognosis well at all........who would? I just wish my wife was here. My kids too. Tuesday can't get here fast enough. I agree with the general consensus about the booze. Although, it was soothing last night. It's not a good idea at all, my head hurted all f**king day. thanks again to everyone.

It took me awhile to process it but I'm pretty certain it's about his sister. The name, age, A&M, the daughter, etc... Landlord, I can honestly relate to your situation. I posted about my father passing away earlier in this thread. What I didn't mention was the endless hassles my mother went through trying to deal with Medicare, Medicaid, etc... I won't even go into it for the sake of everybody here but anybody who has been through it understands. My mother had to spend thousands on a lawyer just to help work through it all. One of the biggest blessings someone like your sister can have in this kind of situation is good, loving people around her... and she is fortunate to have that. I'm not a religious person but I am praying for you in whatever way I can. I truly do understand. I still think about my father frequently and would do anything to be able to watch Indians games with him again.
Jesus Christ. Landlord, I know we don't know each other personally, but from the few encounters we've had here on the BBS, I can tell you're a good human being. I've never been through anything remotely close to this, so I cannot empathize. All I can say is that I hope you and your family can get through this with the smallest amount of grief as possible.
