There’s no way a James Harden-led team is going to win a championship, unless you give him an incredibly stacked roster. I was one of his biggest supporters but I have come to realization that his game has too much flaws to be effective in the playoffs. So why not trade him? I know a lot of people is going to disagree with what I said. But seriously ask yourself when did Harden had a dominant series? I can’t recall any. Even players like Jamal Murray and Mitchell who are considered a tier below Harden had their moments in the playoffs and Harden has never had that type of performance. I like the potential of a Harden trade. Obviously it’s going to be a huge trade for our team and a daunting task for Stone but his value is at the peak right now and have a couple of years locked up. We have our leverage and if Stone can somehow manage to get an Anthony Davis like package. We have a really good chance of continuing to compete.
LeBron James didn't win without DWade and Bosh, Love and Kyrie or with AD. Durant didn't win without a monster team Curry didn't win without an amazing team of all-stars. Kobe needed Shaq or a peak Gasol Kawhi had Duncan and the Spurs which won several without him Kawhi's Raptors were the no 1 seed the prior year and beat a depleted Klay Thompson-less, Durant-less Warriors In the age of Superteams he has always been on the short end of the roster stick. Only Nowitzki's beatdown of the heat was a one man show with a great team over a superteam To expect Harden to do so without help is just stupid. Gave him an over the hill Chris Paul and he almost took down the greatest NBA team ever assembled. This is just stupid. We won't do the things needed to give him a team around him and so we give up on him. Morey was forced to do things to reduce salary that limited flexibility and cost much needed depth even if he got the teammates. And don't bring up Westbrook who is just trash in critical games.
“I was one of his biggest supporters” gtfo with that garbage. OP is a rat and has always been one of the biggest harden haters on here. Every post made has been to **** on harden and call him a choker, while defending ownership.
I think he’ll be gone soon. But the recent Sixers/Nets moves makes me think there aren’t enough picks coming back.
The article states the Rockets will now dictate his next destination meaning it could be anywhere. Not just the Sixers or Brooklyn. Nets better find a third team with assets
lin troll, what elite player hasn’t won with a stacked roster. Even then you have to be on the good side with the refs
https://tradenba.com/trades/8EYXBmtaw I’m thinking of Sixers: HARDEN, TUCKER ATL: Tobias HOUSTON: SIMMONS, Deandre Hunter, Tyrese Maxey, zaire Smith, Matisse Thybulle Atlanta 2021 first Sixers 2021, 2023, 2025, 2027 Pick swaps 2022, 2024 that’s what I think gets it done.
I just want Simmons from the Sixers or Brown from the Celtics then surround them with young guys like Wood to start a young guy rebuild next year
When I saw the thread title I just knew who the OP would be. No need to read the post. Just move along.
